Jeff is the best teacher I have ever had. I was prepared for sight & sound to just be a very basic overview of audio-visual equipment, but it was so much more. Jeff is full of funny stories & engaging demonstrations. He cares so much & pushes you to create something meaningful for every project. I didn't slack off on a single one. Take his class!

BEST professor I've ever had. I had Jeff for both "Sight and Sound" and "Intermediate Photography" and he would brighten up my day every day. He has given me such a great understanding of all the equipment and sophware used in his classes. I wish I had time in my schedule to take a class with him every semester.

Jeff is a good guy and I enjoyed going to his class, but the amount of work you have to do for him outside of class is a bit too much. Also, some of the projects that I had to do for his class will be useful, but there were also some that will not be useful

Jeff is genuinely one of the best professors Ive ever had. He has so much insight and wisdom and does every he can to share it with you. Ive learned so much from him and I cant wait to use the projects we did in my own classroom. PS: take time and work on your website! It really makes all of the difference.

Jeff Goodman is absolutely amazing! He truly cares about you becoming the best teacher you can become. He is passionate and makes learning fun. Although this course is quite a bit of work, it is so worth it. You will not regret taking this class! Side note: this course is revolved around WIX site making. If you don't love wix, you will soon!

This semester with Jeff has been really great! Their were definitely some assignments that I felt were redundant but all around was a really fun class and he really makes it so interesting! He cares for his students and it really shows! I had a really fun time in his class and would definitely recommend to anyone who is a visual learner!

Jeff is honestly one of the best teachers i've ever had. If you have the chance, take a class with him. He goes out of his way to help you with projects or anything you need. If you're struggling with a project he gives you the extra time to complete it and doesn't take much off for it. He also offers a lot of extra credit. All around a great guy.

Jeff is an incredible teacher. He is very understanding and always available for extra help. His class is interesting and extremely useful, and he is clearly passionate about the teaching profession. I always had fun in his class and love listening to him talk about anything. We did a lot of work, but it was all fun and useful for my classroom.

I wish Jeff was my professor for the rest of my college career. He is so awesome and inspires you to be a better person. You will never want to skip class because of how he teaches and how funny he is and if you do, he will text you to ask if you are okay. (seriously, he texted me when I was sick). Take him, you will regret it if you don't!!

Jeff is the best professor I have ever had at Appalachian. Do not hesitate to take him for anything. I've never had such an energetic and upbeat teacher that was clear and concise. The work is not difficult, but it isn't easy. He makes it understandable and easy to understand. He is THE BEST.

He is so interesting and engaging. I could never be in a bad mood during his class, no matter what. He is so cool and funny and he makes you want to learn. All teachers should have him for a professor. He is the best I have ever had. Ever. He stood on his head and drank water to show a unique way to get kids attention. We played some games and had lots of discussion. He makes teaching look so fulfilling. Take him!!!!! You must.

Jeff Goodman is the best thing to happen to me in college. I have taken many of his classes. He is so enthusiastic and interesting, and have become close with each of my classmates. I have also learned valuable media skills, all while having fun. TAKE THIS CLASS. Sign up ASAP, it fills up quickly.

Bit of an oddball, but it makes time go by. Really helpful and energetic. Lots of projects, but personally I enjoyed all of them. Really easy grader so long as you put some effort in. If you get the chance, take his class!

This is a class I think everyone should take. Jeff Goodman is by far the best college instructor I had in my four years at Appalachian. He is enthusiastic about teaching and life in general and you will not regret taking his class.

If you are an education major of any description, you MUST work with this guy once. He's a nutball, but he's the kind of guy you'd want to teach like. As a science teacher in the making, I found him especially helpful. His projects are designed to be used in your future classroom, as well. Bonus!
