definitely READ the text he WILL ask questions on the studies and information in the book. Getting a B isn't hard but if you are looking for an A you'll need to be dedicated. There are papers worth 30 pts due after each exam and it helps boost your grade. ATTEND class on discussion days its an easy 10pts. BORING LECTURE but notes help on exams!

Worst teacher ever. He mumbles under his breath to anything a student says. If a student has a comment during "group work" he is rude, and harsh. He wears shirts two sizes to small, and pants two sizes to big. As far as tests go it's a free for all on material, up to 6 chapters on a test with no guide on what to study.

He teaches way too much information that is not relevant. I did not pass this class with a C or better. I took Perkins for this class and did fine! Whitley is arrogant and made something interesting into boring. He needs to care more about his students and help them when they need help!

very arrogant, condescending, and mean to students.... points out individual student's errors in front of the whole class and won't admit when he's made a mistake... stay away if you can

This man is a pompous, arrogant jerk. He treats his students with no respect. The book is dry and difficult to keep up with, and his tests are extremely hard. If you want to feel totally worthless and feel that you have no value, take this class.

He is impossible to understand and doesn't organize any thoughts. He also answers any question with another even more confusing question. Horrible teacher, horrible class
