I loved Brown. He was very helpful and insisted on meeting outside of class to help on your essays. I took American Manhood and loved it! He will make sure that everyone talks, so come to class prepared. Tough grader on essays, but very fair across the board.

I took an J-term English seminar with Prof. Brown and it was fantastic. He doesn't overload his students and always engages the class. His lectures are interesting and he is obviously knowledgeable. I have advised friends to take his class. I would take one of his classes again.

Awesome Professor. Keeps you interested. Challenges you. Does not keep you occupied with bogus tests and quizzes but challenges you to think outside the box. I hated all High School English classes until I got to his class at St. Thomas.
