If you can take another professor for the class, I would recommend that professor. I had to teach myself almost all of the course work because his exams did not reflect what we were taught in class or in the homework.

Professor Clair is a great teacher and makes sure his students understand the concepts. He would give worksheets and walk around to help/answer any questions someone may have. We had a relatively easy 10 minute quiz at the beginning of class Friday and had homework due. The content (Calc 2) was difficult, but Dr. Clair made it easier to understand.

He is very condescending when it comes to giving advice but all in all he likes what he does and in general, he's an okay grader. Homework is a lot of the grade so pay attention to that

Dr. Clair is a great guy, and a fairly good teacher. He always is willing to help you out with all the material, and his door is always open. He assigns a weekly quiz every friday, and thats really the only time you need to be there besides tests.

Very easy to get an A in this class but it's not for very bright students. You might get stuck with a really dumb group. Material is easy though and the professor makes it very clear. He has lots of office hours, too.

Awesome, Awesome dude. He very interested in his material. He makes homework and tests doable. Clair focuses more on his students learning and doing, rather than test taking. Tests are open book/notes. He is kinda a fidgety/nerdy guy, but that is what makes him so cool. His jokes and sense of humor is hilarious, random, and witty.

He is a squirrely and figedty guy but he knows his stuff. He gives a quiz every fri. that is 3 questions long... very easy. Homework is harder than tests and there are only 4 tests with 10 questions on each. He is a tough grader though!! Beware of that.

He is not a bad teacher. Better person. Too many projects. It demostrates he doesn't program too much. Doesn't cleary specifies the projects. Bad grading, he will take points of if you write your name bad. That course could be better teached for sure. Gets nervous in class, doesn't stop moving.

Homework every week. Lots of programming projects. Midterm and final. He gives a lot of work but he helps you through and gives examples for the programming projects. Overall a very good professor. Prepare to write everything down, because he puts all of the notes on the board.

Math and Art of MC Escher was a new way to look at math. Clair is spastic at first, but calms down and relaxes towards the end. He's a good teacher.
