This lady drove me crazy in my last semester of college. All she talked about was polar bears and all her extravagent adventures with her husband. Sometimes even in class she would be lecturing and have the D.C eagle cam up and we would hear sirens & birds chirping through the speakers?????????? Get ready to read and don't be late to class!!!!!

Spent next to no time lecturing, the class consisted solely of a blue ocean strat game and discussions about "the big short" may have been a great topic for a finance course.... she taught us nothing about marketing not what I expected from an MBA course... it was a waste of time. Her "professionalism" grade is a popularity contest and is total BS

One of the best professors I've ever had. I didn't really learn anything from the simulation, but the reading and case studies are really cool. Quizzes everyday, but they're easy if you read. Lots of class discussions but they were usually pretty fun actually. Wish I had taken her before in other classes!

Basically 1 hour of "teaching" which consists of talking about current events and common sense the rest of the class is devoted to this markstrat game. You compete against others for a grade which shows you are not evaluated by your specific knowledge of material. Suck up lots. Kids who suck up get 100s on each weeks discussions

i think Carol Bienstock writes these note blogs about here self on her wall. There have been some bad teachers in my day but she toppped it off. She was hung over the day after the superbowl everyone could tell. Horrible teacher either way you add it up. When the withdrawl date came around in March more than half the class had to leave. she fails

I don't understand why professors make powerpoints if the tests are going to be COMPLETELY different. She tricks the hell out of you on every test, studying powerpoints is useless because the test is completely out of left field, when you see the "average" scores and grades when she emails them to you, you will see 2 A's 2 B's and 23 D's and F's

She makes the class interesting and is also very helpful and nice. Very clear in her explainations/powerpoints! Tests are really hard, no matter how much you study. Daily quizzes are easy as long as you read the textbook. Also must read a novel and purchase the Wall Street Journal for quizzes. Reading is the key to this class!!

Comment:

Boring class powerpoint all day every day. You must go to class to take the daily quizes but they aren't that difficult just one question. Material seems like common sense but very tricky tests. There is a curve on every test though. Easy to get a B hard to get an A though.

When you're sitting in class it all makes perfect sense, then you get the exam and you feel as if you have no control, very tricky questions, like an interpretive english exam, one answer may be right to you but not to someone else. She just may be the best bet for this class though. Its hard to get an A, easy to get a B.

You have to be there, because your daily quiz grade will basically keep you from failing the class. Tests are extremely hard, you'll think you did pretty well and get a crappy grade back.
