Dr. MarkamShaw is a great professor, she knows how to keep her students engaged in the material she is teaching. She is a tough grader and expects presentations to be close to perfect. Her tests are very tough, studying is highly required. While taking this class, I barely took notes (BIG MISTAKE) so make sure you do as the semester goes on. c

Very nice and passionate. I learned a lot from this class but the work load was very heavy. Tests can be tricky. She is very helpful but strict when it comes to grading presentations.

Worried because she is the department chair and figured she must really have to know her stuff. She is fantastic. Her classes are v ery interesting and fun. You must study for the 2 tests and her in-class assignments are real applications of what is taught in the text. You will LEARN in this class. Highly recommend. Always available to help.

Was scared to take her - heard she was hard. She was the best ever!! She wanted us to learn and really leave with something we could use to improve. If you are lazy, stay home. If you want to get your money worth, bring it. She is awesome. She cares and knows her stuff.

She's informative and gives out tons of information and personal experience, but her test are REALLY hard. The assignments she gives are not so difficult, but overall if you aren't studying for her tests you should be whenever you can. :)
