Many people have given Professor Cubbage bad reviews; however, I do no think I've met many other professors as compassionate as her. Every class she encouraged all of us to push the envelope and strive to be better english students. There were days she stopped lecture just to help guide us in formatting and work one on one with students. 10/10

Dr. Cubase was an amazing teacher. English is not my strongest subject, actually I kind of suck at writing papers. I showed up to every class except one which I missed for an emergency and she was beyond understanding. I passed with an A and would definitely recommend her and would love to take her again.

Great teacher. I had her for English 101 & 151. She is very clear and gives good feedback on rough drafts so that you final paper is an easy A. I would take her for more classes if I could.

Gives misleading info that makes the class more difficult than it should be. Does not provide useful feedback on rough drafts. Doesn't teach as much as she criticizes. Draft feedback will tell you your weakpoints, but we weren't taught how to improve on them. Avoid.

Seemes like she knew what she was doing at first. If you read this though, be warned. She is grouchy, and very unhelpful. I wrote my 5-page argumentative paper using the corrections she gave me. I followed all her corrections to tooth and nail, and still received only a 79% on the paper. I followed every little guideline that was offered.

Mrs. Cubbage frequently amazed me with how she was able to grade so many essays in such a short amount of time(often 24hrs)and still be able to find every single flaw you would make.You can tell she's got alot of experience at her work. Although her class my most difficult by far, It was the only one that pushed me and made me a better writer.

This was a difficult class. You are instructed to write too many papers with out enough time. A lot of pre-writing! Too much work overall. She was boring & the class was one of my worst. I don't recommend it, if you can avoid it, then do... at all costs!

Horrible professor. She assigns a tremendous amount of work, explains next to nothing, and grades way too critically. She plays favorites and basically excommunicates anyone who dare question her. While her class IS manageable, I'd seriously recommend taking someone else.

Dr. Cubbage had an attitude whenever a request was made to provide more critical remarks on rough drafts. I was never able to receive better than a C on a final draft even though I made every change mentioned. Each final essay she would make notes on individual sentences that were previously there, but not noted as an issue. Very rude via email!

Dr. C,is the most amazing professor! She pushes you beyond your limits. She inspired me to want to be a better writer, which gave me the opportunity to participate in the Maryland Collegiate Honors Conference. She taught me the value and importance of sources. I enjoyed her class & can't wait to take another class.

This was definitely the toughest class I've had at Wor-Wic. A LOT of work! Papers due every week. But it's what you should expect from an honors course. She wasn't too hard with grading. As long as you follow the grading rubric, you'll be fine. The class overall was a lot of fun and all of the honors students became very close.

seriously folks. I passed with flying colors but that is because i decided to stop listening to the teacher, and teach myself. Why are all the English teachers at worwic mean and nasty? Someone should seriously have a talk with them. It is almost unconstitutional............and just plain immoral.

I took a lot more classes from Dr. C. but I can't remember the numbers. She is the most fabulous teacher ever...I often wish she could teach every class I have. She is one in a million and I feel so lucky to have had such a great teacher.
