He taught me how to research literary and film topics. He challenged me. He encouraged me. I learned more from him than from any other ISU professor during my entire career as a student and grad student.

This guy rocks! Basically, you watch a movie each night, write a short review about the style of it and then have class discussion. We only had to write 4 papers. Awesome!! Really interesting if you're curious about film-making.

Silet is awesome. I had Lit Theory with him which could have been boring but wasn't. He seems like he was bored some of the time, but overall I was impressed. He's a really really smart nice man.

This guy's cool. This man intensified my love for film, and has the ability to make abstract ideas seem crystal clear. Highly recommended.
