Comment:

So Dr. Mandato is a fine teacher but his lectures are messy & unclear. He made mistakes from time to time. When students ask him questions, the most memorizing moment is his response as "You tell me". Then he literally asked her for a mini presentation... The final is brutal! Look out for written part! Only draw what u see in 2-D slide! NO 3-D!

Comment:

Mandato really cares about his students and will challenge you to make sure that the expected level of understanding is achieved. The class is not very difficult but without the midterm, time management is a must. Memorize everything in the lab book because little things were mentioned in final exam. Mandato is vibrant and great lecturer

Comment:

when they say focus on histology, LITERALLY FOCUS ON HISTOLOGY. My final had 0 questions on functions but rather on things like "acidophilic or basophilic?"(you'll know what I mean once you take the course). Otherwise, not that much content & very doable. Mandato's explanations are great & sufficient.

Comment:

Dr. Mandato was a very engaging lecturer, though he breezed through material very quickly (the last lecture was about 25 minutes long rather than the full 1.5 hrs). I was afraid the final exam would be difficult and that his lectures would not prepare us enough, but it was pretty similar to the depth of the lecture material.

Got to my first day of class having read the textbook chapters ahead of time. After class asked prof Mandato a question and the answers I got was : "It's all about understanding. You have to understand." My question was ignored, and this could not have been less pretentious of an answer. But,good point of his is that he repeats students' questions

He's okay when teaching. His pace is good and you won't need to relisten to the lecture, but he rushes the subject when he personally doesn't care about it. NEVER ASK QUESTIONS because he will reply with "want to do a powerpoint on it?" No, I don't. That's why I'm paying for you to teach me, buddy.

I'm honestly not sure what I think about this guy. i think all of his students will have a different opinion about him. yes, he is hilarious. he is also rude. Can't lie, hes pretty good looking. He isnt clear most of the time when hes speaking, but his questions are easy. LOVED him in histology but he was pretty bad in anat 262.. still, presley.

this professor is clear, interestic, pationate about the topic, always happy to answer questions, loved it! Still a hard class, requires attention, and work. But Craig Mandato makes it interesting enough for the work to be worth it!
