Professor Kim is a sweet guy but he really has some unclear teaching practices. He pulls his test questions from the textbook and sometimes they have little to do with what he covers in class. However, he gives an extra credit assignment that is a big grade booster. I failed every test and still winded up with a C+

Horrible professor. Dnt know what is on the test ever. No review sheets all you can do is read the powerpoints he just reads in the class.Has a thicker accent. Hes the only one that has been teaching this class lately so its your prob stuck with him bc its a required class.3 Test 30% non cummalitive hard. 10 particaption and difficult extra credit

I dont know what to say about this professor. He is a great guy, however he has a "DIFFERENT" style of teaching that confuses students. He makes a lot of simple mistakes and a lot of the material he teaches is usually not on the tests. He makes jokes that arent funny but he will laugh at them for hours. Exams are fair as long as you follow his PP

The worst professor ever. If you want to take this class, please learn Korean, otherwise you will not be able to understand anything he says. Also, just a reminder, half of the stuff on the final has nothing to do with what he ever said in class. And lastly, remember you will not learn anything at all.

He is the only Professor teaches Fin309. Not too bad, actually, you can still learn something from him. At least he got a finance PHD. He can teach some theory he did on some paper he published at 80s, other than that, do your work on the research paper and you will be fine.

This professor is awful. He's extremely unorganized. The material wasn't difficult but he uses poor wording in his exams(20 questions multiple choice.) I heard he was on probation for failing so many students. I ended up with a B - the lowest grade I've ever received with a finance professor. He's a horrible professor, and I do not recommend him.

Nice guy, doesn't get point across well to students because of accent. I would avoid him if possible. He's fair, and hooked the class up with a take home final but that was only because he knew kids were not getting the material. Got a good grade but I think it could have went the other way. He's knows alot about international business

Very good Professor. Entertained class by occasionally getting angry at "Wise Ass" students, which cracked me up. Tests were easy, but learned alot from them.

I had this guy for 101 and 110... he is horrible!!! Very difficult to understand, his classes are very boring. He has no idea what he is doing... he missed the scheduled final last semester, and gave everyone an incomplete who didnt come and make it up the next day. He never responds to e-mails and is extremely unhelpful.

I had his professor twice, he SUCKS!! I taught everything to myself. Going to class is a joke. He's unclear and screws up every practice problem. So if you weren't confused already, you definately will be when class is over.

Kim is hilarious, he giggles all through class and is smart but cannot explain the simplest concepts clearly. Good class for people who cheat or have a knack for finance. HW is graded, 2 tests, medium difficulty, project; just make it look like you did a lot and you will get a good grade because he doesn't understand it. KIM! LOL!

Kim is the most confusing teacher I have ever had and finance is already confusing so i didnt need his help to make it more confusing. He makes all kinds of mistakes in class on the board so try to touble check what he does so that you get it. In the end if you do well on the HW and Exams and the paper you can do fine. Just this class requires a little more attention when it comes to studying. Good Luck

okay he makes mistakes. but he knows how to teach the course. he gives you leverage if you do very well on the 2 exams then final is exempt. hw and a 4 page paper is due as well.
