Awesome prof! Can be scatterbrained when lecturing but his powerpoints and notes are very organized and clear. The textbook does help a lot though. Only had two short assignments, a midterm, and a final. For both tests he told us exactly what to study for. He makes a lot of jokes and is clearly very passionate about geography.

Excellent professor and into what he's teaching. Very smart and not arrogant. I would recommend him to anyone and enjoy his classes. He's a bit busy and all over the place, but has an amazing sense of humor and teaching style. If only more prof's were like him...

Expects way too much work for a second year class. Very slow at marking labs and assignments; we're done the class and only have 1 of 5 labs marked. Tests cover a huge amount of material but have quite specific questions. He made the class quite challenging, but I did learn a lot...

Good professor. Strong eastern european accent, but his notes and lectures are very clear. He also had no problem accommodating me when I couldn't make the final exam. I liked his assignments that actually make you think insted of just copy textbooks. He kept my interest duing class, and put down this annoying kid. Recommended.

Please disregard prior comment; obviously from someone who never attended class. Dr. Suteanu is passionate about teaching, has excellent p-drive notes, and really cares about his student's marks. Assignments were a joke if you put in any effort at all; mid-term and final were a breeze. Go to class, read your book - you'll get an A.

hard to understand, he says you will do group work at the beginning to make his course sound fun but you never end up doing it. his assignments are ridiculous and impossible. Just not a very good class. If your a freak about this kind of stuff, all the power to ya haha but if your just taking it as an elective.. donnnnttt dooo itt.

Awesome prof!! He LOVES Geography and makes it interesting...Explains things in great detail and will go over something as many times as you need so you understand. Definitely one of the best profs at SMU.. I highly recommend.

Dr Sutenu was a good professor who really seems to enjoyteaching.He givesyou a 5 minute break in between mostclasses and for the majority of his one midterm and 0ne exam they are multiplechoice. His assign were easy and worth 40% as long as you actually tried. gave bonus pts. very nice man.recomend.
