There are no notes in this class, you only use the book once (for a group chapter presentation), and there are only 2 quizzes which are on the material from the presentations. The final is a group project on an Ethnic group of her choosing. If you get a good group then you'll be good. This is a very easy class.

Ms. Woods is one of THE BEST PROFESSORS at Chaffey College. She is very passionate about her work. Just show up to class, keep up with all of your reading and your notes. She gives alot of pop quizzes but as long as you study , you will be fine. If Corrections is the field you want to work in. I highly, ighly recommend her

professor Woods is amazing i have taken four classes with her and currently in my fifth she is fair and knows what she is talking about for all her classes you will need to read the book to keep up with the class and show up to class and you can go to her with anything and she will listen and give you advise she is truly wonderful

Awesome! You take 4 exams you WILL HAVE TO READ THE BOOK! You take notes and watch fun videos(take notes on those too)She lets you know after the 2nd exam where you stand in the class. You have the oppurtunity to visit a detention center. No hw just have to read and define some words(3 every 2 weeks or so.) Lastly, 1 group project! Fun though! :)

Darcel Woods is the absolute BEST professor i have ever had. During my 2 years at chaffey, i took every CRJ class with her. There is work, and you do need to be there, but if she sees you struggling, she will do whatever she can to make sure that you get back on track. She is an amazing person & professor, and she knows what she is talking about!

She has been the greastest teacher i've had since i've been at chaffey. her class is so much fun the projects dicussions and trips we take. she's a real down to earth teacher and that's what i love about her so much. she's tough on you only b/c she wants you to grasp all that she's teaching you and once you do you'll be set.Highly recommended!

I took Ms. Woods for 5 of my CS classes and that should speak for itself! She is very knowledgeable and smart. You do have to earn your grade in her class, however she gives you plenty of extra credit. She makes you feel very comfortable in talking to her about anything! Great Instructor, wise and most importantly knows her stuff! 1 of the best!!
