I can easily say Prof. Budd has been my favorite prof. at Rutgers so far! This class was my favorite class this semester and it was Sat. at 9am(it flies by!)I actually looked forward to going. She really knows her stuff and is a great prof,really gets you interested in AH. Just go over all the images and notes from the lectures and youll do great!

A Saturday morning class.. Dreadful but quite entertaining. She brings energy to her lectures and really knows her stuff. the test are the only difficult part trying to remember multiple paintings and only using a handful for the exam. If you have a photographic memory then this is the class for you!!

Never had any interest in art until this class. GREAT PROF. Has a lot of energy for a SAT. 9am class. Def have to look at your notes ahead of time if you want a good grade. She is very fare about grading. Not an easy class if your not an art major, but one worth taking.

Dr. Budd will keep you interested for the entire 3 hours, and gives you tons of material, so make sure you review your notes well ahead of the exam. Posts her powerpoint lectures online. Super fair grader, and lets you drop your lowest grade. You'll have to write a paper, but it's no biggie. She's a superb teacher, left me wanting to learn more!

Loved this class, Dr. Budd knows her stuff! It's a Saturday class, and she keeps you the full three hours, so beware! Review the material weekly and you'll do just fine on the exams...she's very fair, and lets you drop your lowest grade.

Such a great professor. I didn't really want to take the class but needed to fill a requirement. I ended up loving it, definitely one of my favorites so far. Makes everything really interesting and has a great sense of humor. People seem to complain that it's "such a hard class" but it's not. Just take the time to study a bit and you'll be fine.

She's knowledgable and passionate about the material, and classes are really interesting. Too bad her organization of material is so confusing that it's difficult to study for exams - and exams are not easy, she's a tough grader. Professor Budd loves what she teaches!!! it's so evident in her lectures. theyre never boring! definitely not an easy "A" but a great "A" to work for. She's very upfront and straightfoward so you know she's not easy and her tests are tough. AWESOME!

Such a great teacher. Even though there is a *lot* of memorization for this class, Professor Budd completely makes up for it with both her sense of humor, and enthusiasm. She made me *want* to go to class, and learn about the material. She comes highly recommended from me.

professor budd was a totally awesome teacher. she is really enthusiastic about art history, but not in the conventiounal boring, obnoxious way. she totally inspired me to lo0k deeper into art production in general, and i learned a great deal in her class. she was also really funny in class. the xams were a lil hard, but whats new.
