I love technology! What I did not love was taking this professor's class. I agree with the prior complaints. Her grading is based on favoritism. She gives more help to those that she seems to like. She is not fair, nor does she try to be and her delivery is sporadic and disjointed. She is highly critical. Horrible experience!

Comment:

Absolutely the most horrifying learning experience ever. Her delivery of information is sporadic and unorganized. Her grading is subjective and she definitely shows favoritism. If found myself questioning my abilities and self esteem after leaving this class. She didn't have one positive thing to say when she graded projects.

For people who aren't good at computers, this is a really great class, however when you're someone who has had a lot of experience, she is very repetitive and points out blatantly obvious things, and it can get annoying.

Professor Taylor is top of the line. She does not buy into grade inflation and most Elon students struggle with that, but I worked hard and earned an A while learning a lot. Stick with the course- it is worth it!

This class was helpful in many ways; however, much more work than it ever should have been. I'd work for hours on end doing pointless assignments that I THOUGHT had a clear rubric. BZT can teach thoroughly, but she's not nice to work with. She is very degrading. This is not conducive to a productive learning environment. I hated this class.

Professor Taylor cares a lot about her students and about the class. But she expects students to do an absolutely ridiculous amount of (pointless) work. I feel like I do more work for this class than any of my other classes, and am not going to use any of it. This class needs to be re-worked so that it wastes a lot less of students' time.

i really liked prof taylor... she was a hard grader but was flexible with due dates and wanted you to do well. i got a lot out of resources out of it that i think will be good for teaching. not as easy as the other prof that teaches it, but if you want to learn a lot, take her.

"Computers & Teaching" is a sucky class and she treats it like it's your only one. Her assignment sheets are easily as long as she wants the actual assignment to be and require you to look at something like 20 websites just to write a decent pap

She really shows you how to efficiently use the computer. Requires thinking and work to do well but overall it is very beneficial. Take her to do well in the long run on your technology portfolio.
