I had a huge fear of speaking in front of others, so she worked with me and let me present my assignments after class with just her in the room! I would take her for many other classes if I could, but I'm a psych major. Gonna miss her when I graduate.

Prof Haley is one of the best professors out there! She understands that students dont like public speaking and she eases everyone into it. Super easy grader and all speeches have a clear outline with expectations for what she wants! She is such a sweet person and cares for her students. Only 2 absences but she cancels class too:)

Comment:

For someone who doesn't like public speaking and dreaded it being a graduation requirement, I actually liked her class. She eased us into public speaking with our first speech being paired so we weren't up in front of the class all by ourselves. She's relatable, and understands we have other classes, jobs, and lives outside of class.

Professor Haley is the absolute best! She makes public speaking a breeze. You can miss 3 classes without it affecting your grade (as long as they're not your speech days). 5 speeches - outlines & note cards required for each, but totally doable. 2 short papers. I will miss her stories in class! She is funny, easy going, & knowledgeable! TAKE HER!

Best professor you can have. Public speaking is going to suck no matter who you take it with but professor Haley is the best. She basically holds your hand throughout the whole course and provides a good environment. She gives a template for each speech so there isn't much thinking to do on your part. TAKE HER!

She is hands down the best professor I've ever had. She is sweet and offers to help students in many ways. She gives clear outlines and tells you how she will grade you. There is about 5 speeches per semester and she gives good feedback so you can improve. Public speaking can be a nightmare but she makes students comfortable. She's truly amazing!!!

She is amazing. Tries to be intimidating with certain rules but is not at all. She is super funny and normally lets you out of class early every day! She tells you all kinds of stories and makes this class easy. I swear everyone in my class passed with flying colors!! take her!!!!

Professor Haley makes this course very easy and is always very helpful. Almost no pressure on speech days and is always willing to proofread your outlines. There is almost no homework and you don't really need the book as she gives you the notes you need for the material. Overall, an easy A and a painless class.
