The professor is a really nice guy but I didn't really learn anything in lectures. The grade is based off of 3 exams and 5 pop quizzes so its important to come to class even if your not paying attention. He allows a cheat sheet on each exam so try to cramp as much of the slides as onto the sheet as you can. Just go over everything before the exam.

Gives 5 pop quizes, 3 exams which he lets you bring a cheat sheet to. Just go to lecture and listen. Print out the slides and then make a chest sheet. Definitely take this for science requirement!

Pretty easy class. The professor is a nice guy and you're allowed to have cheat sheets on the 3 exams. He has a calm voice that can easily put you to sleep, so beware. The slides are posted online and attendance isn't really required (you'll miss 5 pop quizzes 10 points of your grade) but you need to show up to understand the material.

He's a really nice guy. Good Professor and is very intelligent. He has 5 pop quizzes, that he randomly will give out. So you need to go to class if you want an A. He adds on extra points on exams if there was no 100%. He also will add points for the course grade if the highest score is not a 100% as well. Cheat sheet allowed. Easy class, easy A.

Prof Kent is really sweet and nice, but his lectures can be boring and I have a tendency to fall asleep even if I'm sitting in the front row. He has 5 easy pop quizzes based on the notes. His (3) exams are straightforward but he focuses on small details too. There isnt an official final for this class. Don't need a textbook but its helpful.

He was such a nice professor! He's always willing to help you out. Attendance is not mandatory, but you should go to class if you really want to learn and get a good grade. His office hours are helpful. Really nice guy! He's not condescending at all, so if you don't understand something, don't be afraid to ask. 3 open-note exams, 5 pop quizzes.

How could you hate on Kent? He was the easiest professor I've had at rutgers next to Caram. Last year, Kent's exams were open notes, and he gave you the powerpoints. So, if you print out 1000 pages of powerpoints before the exam, you had the answers to the test in front of you. Plus he curved. His pop quizzes are laughable. Boring? yes. Easy? Yes.

interesting class. did not take attendence as well as did not use the book. although there are a few pop quizes which a caveman can pass. i like geology so it wasnt that bad. overall, id say good professor, a wee bit boring if you arnt interested.

The Class is boring, but it is not DVK's Fault. Lets be honest here. Its geology. DVK is a nice guy who trys to help everyone out. He also likes to "shave" 10 minutes off class. Ashley finds him attractive
