Dr. Cowser's class is a breeze. You write 3 essays & 2 research papers. The topics are easy & minimum length on the research papers is only 3 pgs. He assigns reading every day, but a lot of students never did the reading & he didn't reprimand. If there is an in-class assignment over reading, he will let you know. There is also some group work.

Dr. Cowser is the sweetest elderly man I have ever met. The class is super easy. I could have made an A if I really wanted too. You write 6 essays and he gives you 3 choices each time on what to write about. There is no page limit. He grades it then you can revise it. You also write in class essays over the reading. Boring but super easy.

ok.. I will give you the the COMPLETE TRUTH! He is older man and sweet as can be.... BUT, (and this is a huge BUT), he grades harder than my upper division teachers in english. I am an englsih major I have taken English 440, 460, 485 and made all A's!!! But I made a C in his class! DONT TAKE HIM!!!! I sware you will regret it!

I loved this man! He is so precious. Britlish Lit isn't everyone's favorite, but he picks out the most interesting stories and poems for discussion. Grade is based on two tests, two essays, weekly quizzes, and the final. He is very fair in grading and always willing to help. Take him!!

I felt like this class was very easy. As long as you listen to the lectures and read the assignments, you'll have no problem. Dr. Cowser gives about a quiz a week, and the tests are all essays; however, he does not grade very hard. Sometimes the lectures can get a bit dull but overall the class is a breeze.

Dr. Cowser is a really kind professor, but his lectures can be hard to follow at times. As long as you read the material assigned for class and listen to class discussions, you should be fine on the tests. Tests are complete essay and you have to write one term paper. Overall it's not too hard.

Prof cowser is great!! i loved him! he's a very cute little old man, but he knows his stuff. I had a B when i took him for eng. 111 but when i took him for 112 i got an A. you just have to understand the way he wants his papers and you'll do fine!

So if you think you're pretty good at writing...you still need to try harder because unless you're really really good, he won't give you higher than a C on a paper. Ha loved this man and this class...I took it with some friends and loved it...he plays favortism...he is very easy doesn't give an A you really don't have to read the stories just make stuff up he doesn't really care...he will make you smile...definately recommend him to everyone the assignments are EASY

Be prepared to be very bored!! okay teacher, VERY boring. Ya read a lot and have in class writings-he grades those easier than the ones we do outside of class. Talks very slow. pop quizes every now and then over the material you read, just to make sure you read it. i've gotten a B on all of my papers and i can't seem to pull an A on even 1 of them
