Mr. Lorek is a decent teacher his classes can get boring with every classes period being a mass lecture for two hours as well as a very monotone voice, with a hard accent and poor hand writing so if you do take the class sit in the front row you'll want to.

Comment:

Grades didn't get put in until the day before the final which made the entire class worry a little bit. His accent is heavy and his handwriting was bad. There were many opportunities for extra credit which I appreciated.

I found Mr. Derek an amazing professor who really cares and makes sure to get his point across. If you don't get it, he is genuinely more than happy to help you understand. Not looking you in the eye when explaining, but hey he is himself. Cracks a joke unexpectedly out of nowhere making you be like, ''wait, what?'' haha. Recommended!

If you want to learn not just get good grade, take his class. He is one of the best professor .He explained very detail, patience, calm and very professional. If you do practice quiz and exam, you will get extra credit. I really recommend to either smart and not smart students.

Great professor. He helped his students understand math in a clear fashion. He always made sure to ask if there were any questions, and thoroughly worked through every question. Best math teacher I've had my whole life. Only con would be he never upgraded grades once!

Mr. Lorek is an awesome teacher. The class itself I felt was kind of difficult but Mr. Lorek was more than willing to help with anything we had questions on. He accommodated with dealines and has a funny, sarcastic personality. I would reccomend him to anyone.

Good professor. Not very easy to understand sometimes with his German accent, but he'll go over anything you have a in on. He moves kinda fast through the material but there's lots of E.C. opportunities. 3 of the 5 exams we got to take home which really helped me pass the class. Not a guarantee for your class, but you might get lucky!

He is a great teacher, he gave a lot of extra credit on exams and homework. Tests and homework were really easy. If you pay attention you will get a 4.0. If your taking MATH 112 i recommend this professor.

Excellent Instructor. I had him for Summer Semester; 4 days each week, 2 hrs each day. Very clear presentation, easy relaxed teaching style. He has an accent which makes one listen more closely I think. Good sense of humor, too. I wish he was teaching the Math class I am taking now!

He is anawesome teacher, what he expects is clear. He teaches you several ways to learn the same material just to make sure you are learning in a way that makes sense to you. He covers EVERYTHING that will be on tests/quizzes so there are no surprises as long as you pay attention.

he is an awesome teacher i had a little bit of a hard time in highschool in math but here i am i think making a 4.0 its not hard he goes over everything until you know it like the back of your hand, just pay attention and you will do fine. I enjoy the class he has some humor, dry sometime but overall ok. If he had a higher class i would attend.

He is the best teacher ever! He works with the students and stays on it until everyone understands. He also allows group work and even some group tests if you know how to ask right! I definately, definately recommend him!

He has maybe a little accent, but tremendous knowledge. He cares about the students, and also very nice. He is not rushing through already made examples but works with the students. He has humor, which is not bad from a math teacher. If I take another math class I would choose him again.
