What a great teacher! He makes history so interesting. He knows exactly what he is talking about. He has passion for the subject. Show up, pay attention, and don't use your phone during class. You will pass. The tests have been easy for me-just go to class & I study. We get to watch movie clips every class. I love this class. He is handsome too.

He's an okay guy but will not take any bull. He's not forgiving when you make mistakes and will clearly point out that you are wrong. He is nice when he is teaching but can kind of be rude when you ask something after class. The course itself though is pretty cool, just make sure you attend, pay attention, and do his readings.

I'm so sad I only had the opportunity to take a class with Dr. Mustazza only once in my academic career at Penn State Abington. Dr. Mustazza really cares about his students and always makes himself available to help anyone who needs it. His lectures are really interesting and as long as you're engaged and participating, you'll earn a high grade.

This class was very interesting for me because I never looked at movies as in-depth as I was expected to in this class. From the time I finished his class, I viewed the media in a completely different way. Overall, his course is one of the most useful ones you'll take.

Solid teacher. The readings online only count for maybe 3 out of 25 questions on a quiz. It's better to pay attention that take notes, he prints out the power point slides for everyone and usually just has a few questions about random things he said.

Very clear! He asks questions relating to current events which make you think! Open-minded. If you pay attention in class, quizzes are easy. There might be one or two questions from the books that he didn't talk about but that's it. Some of the books we read were: Angels in America, Medea, D.of a Salesman, Dutchman, and Othello.

Dr. Mustazza makes the learning process very interactive, and integrates current events and ethical issues into the study of the plays - very poignant class discussions that truly illuminate the pieces and bring them to life in a way that the usual approach doesn't do. Fair grader and one heck of a great guy. The world needs more like him!!!

Amazing teacher! This course satisfies US Cultures, so that's a bonus! You watch a lot of great movies in class, and he asks you to read the books, but I think I only read half of the first book and I was able to walk away with a decent grade. If you fall asleep easily in class, then watch out, because if the movies don't interest you...

This is a man whose passionate about what he does and extremely creative in how he does it. Some of the most thought provoking class discussions I have ever had the privilege to hear. On top of that, he is just an all around great guy and you will want to attend his class even on days when you don't feel like going to the others.

Very good professor, grades fairly and teaches loudly and clearly. He is distinctly New York raised. Ask him about Frank Sinatra, he wrote a bunch of books about him. INART has an odd blend of history and analysis. Portions of films make up the majority of class time in INART.

Truly an amazing teacher! He is the kind of teacher you will be talking about in the years to come. Makes you look at books and films in a whole new way. Take this class, even as an elective...you will not be sorry. You must attend class and read the books, but this is a class you will want to be in.

The best teacher I have had at Abington so far. Extremly interesting, his class is great, and he is really nice man. I strongly recomend his classes (if you do NOT really hate reading). You won't be bored during american studies with Mustazza.
