A lot of assigned reading with reaction papers due afterward. I am not a very good writer at all and received good grades on the papers. Midterm exam is a lot of definitions and memorization, easy B. Final project and presentation was fun, DRESS NICELY for final presentation, he commented on that a lot.

Took this class because it met a lot of my SAS requirements. One month into class and I immediately regretted it as the work load was very high and the criteria by which he grades is not the clear. I would recommend getting the needed SAS requirements through other courses.

Had him for Chinese Drama, very easy, the essays were so easy to write (my papers were basically summarizations and some analysis), attend class to write down notes, watch plays, and to fill in worksheets. Memorize the study guides; they ARE the exams!

Easy, but boring class. Professor gives lecture notes online so going to class isn't even a big deal. As long as you do your work, even without trying, you could get at least a B. If you try, then the A is easily accessible

Class is basically about reading plays and analyzing them. They easy to read and not time consuming. 3 essays, 1 group project, midterm and final both of which your given a list of terms you need to know. Read the plays, participate, do your essays, and you shud be able to get an A. Prof is very kind too.
