He covers a lot of material in his lectures, so you need to go to class. Tests are not too hard if you study. There are some opportunities for extra credit. Overall, not a bad class.

he is AMAZING and offers a ridiculous amount of extra credit opportunities. He is obsessed with the yANKEEs and makes even the most boring subjects interesting. As long as you pay attention in class and do the readings in Mulins, you'll do WonDERFULLY in the class. His favorite number is 27 as of now bTW. Ask for extra credit before exams...trust

As a Catholic, I wasn't too excited about taking religion at Baylor. I'm really glad that I took Dr. Weaver. Although he will tell you what he thinks, he will also present lots of other viewpoints. You are graded on if you know and understand the material, not on what you believe. Good experience, if a little boring at times.

if you are not Christian and concerned about getting religion shoved down your throat, you should take Weaver. he is really open minded and does not force any beliefs on you. he has a pretty liberal interpretation on lots of biblical issues. his tests are pretty hard (they're trivial questions and require lots of reading) but he's a cool prof.

Dr. Weaver knows what he is talking about, but his class is very boring, and his tests are quite difficult. Very nice professor, but be prepared to do a lot of reading and take tests that are very difficult. Would I take him again? If I had a choice, no, but if had to, I wouldn't be too upset.

Really nice guy. He is pretty easy as well. I got a 95% in his class. Make sure you know the study guide he provides. The entire exams come from it.

This guy's tough, but really nice. Don't feel too bummed out if you happen to be "stuck" with Weaver. He's a nice guy, just makes things very difficult when it comes to taking tests. Read the assignments and you'll pass.
