This woman gave us a millions opportunities for career advancement. She is the only professor Ive had that actually considered us as future journalists. She told us about each event on and off campus in relation to mass com. You want to make sure she knows who you are because she will look out for you.

Comment:

One of the best professors I've had. Really cares about her students and wants you to succeed. Very accessible outside class and responds to emails very fast. Interesting discussions that keep you engaged. If you're serious about journalism she is the perfect professor to learn from. I highly recommend taking her as much as possible.

If you take MCOM 257 or 258 as a seven week course be ready to move fast. She has a lot of 2-3 pt assignments but they add up FAST. Loves what she does and makes class enjoyable, take notes, pay attention and ask questions and you should be fine- TED

Awesome professor, most difficult part of the class was the 120 quizzes on AP Style that you must complete by the end of the semester. She's super understanding, and she cares about your success. Super knowledgeable on the topic and is a great resource

One of the best professors I've taken at Towson so far. She's such a cool lady and has actual experience that she draws from to make her lectures more relatable and interesting. Excited to take her again for Broadcast in the future. Take this class!

She knows what she's doing and the assignments she gives seem overwhelming at first, but they are easy. You have to be comfortable getting out there and being a journalist and interviewing people. She only gives a midterm and a final, both really easy. Just study all the powerpoints she posts on blackboard.

She will sometimes expect more than what is asked. Meaning, she will spend a day working or explaining something, and then the next she will expect you do it perfectly. Yet, she is VERY good at explaining things. And she is HIGHLY engaged the whole class period. I highly recommend you take her, especially if you're passionate about writing.

Absolutely loved her. She is extremely nice and funny. Very helpful. Willing to push back due dates on major assignments if the class does feel ready. Has real life experience as a journalist. Super relevant lectures. I really learned a lot. Would definitely recommend her

Shes not the easiest teacher, nor is she the hardest. She will take note of your effort as long as you try and is very professional and friendly. If you were burned by your 257 teacher she is a step up to say the least. She will work with you, not against you. Makes a great advisor as well. Take her!

(Journalism I & II)Prof A****er is a boon to students in all her classes!I've had 2 with her and as long as you try,she is always willing to help! The tests are based on the notes in class BUT she sneaks in 1-2 things from the book. You can survive w/out it tho if you are short on cash.Course load is very reasonable & you learn A LOT!Recommend 100%

AMAZING TEACHER! she is so clear with her intructions and the work she gives is very helpful but its not overwhelming. she keeps a very clear class schedule online so its impossible to miss an assignment. I would definitely take her again!
