Dr. Angeles is wonderful. Her class is far from hard, it does require some reading, but shes pretty straightforward. She encourages class discussion, offers extra credit and drops your lowest quiz grade. There is a quiz approx every 2-3 weeks, midterm, final, group project and 2-3 major papers. & She offers study guides that are clear

The most Boring Class you could take. Shes all over the place and moves from topic to topic. You never even know what Topic your currently learning when she lectures. Sucks to have to take this class because its a Religious School. Avoid if possible

She is a literal god among teachers. A lot of students are jealous of her god-like presence, which is why she has a low score on here. Her lectures are MLG and she loves her students. She raises the bar when it comes to professors. If you take her class, you will never be the same. I still am shook from how good her powerpoints are. Fantastic prof.

Comment:

She is way overhated. Her class is not that hard if you put effort into it. I got an 'A' in almost every essay and test and I didn't even read. Pay attention in class and know the key vocab words in the textbook and you should be fine. Her class is boring, and she is occasionally irritating, but she isn't that bad compared to some other professors.

DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS! I REPEAT DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS!!! She gives out the hardest exams & the study guides are difficult to understand. Shes a very tough grader, so if you're up for a challenge take her, but I won't recommend it.

This professor is awful and so is the class. Such a boring class I never understand what we're even talking about! She jumps from one religion and topic to another in a matter of minutes. Textbook reading are hardly discussed in class. Very hard grader. Horrible PowerPoints! I feel like i need to teach myself literally everything before a test.

I have taken religion classes my entire life and this is by far the WORST one. The book she gives us for homework is not to read by first time religion learners and usually has no correlation to what she talks about in class. She doesnt stay consistent when teaching about different religions, shell talk about a religion for 5 mins and move on.

Very hard class. Would not take her again. She was a tough grader and not clear at all. She would ask students to respond in class, but not acknowledge that you talked. PowerPoints were literally just subject titles. It was your responsibility to go back and look up everything needed to learn anything. Test outline was accurate but difficult.

Terrible teacher. Worst I've ever had honestly. She literally explains nothing in class, but when someone asks about a slide she says that you can look at them online. There is no substance to her slides. Just headings and subject titles. She also takes off points for misspelled words. I must have forgot I'm a taking grade school English class.

IS absolutely insane. goodluck with this class, when you get bad grades on papers she refuses to explain how it is wrong and simply says, "uhhhh, okay". Not only can she not be understood but she will ruin your grades and simply tell you that, "I have faith in you". Avoid her!!!

If you can, don't take this class. She is the worst grader I've ever had. When I went to speak to her about why my grade was the way it was for one of my papers, she couldn't give me a concrete, reasonable explanation. One minor mistake will bring you from a 100 to 65. She's horrible at grading. DON'T TAKE HER CLASS!

Dr. Angeles is a good professor who knows her stuff. Although, I found the subject matter (religion) uninteresting, the class was engaging as she always encouraged us to give our opinions on different topics. I would take her again, but be warned, Angeles isn't a pushover. Do your work. Always be prepared for pop quizzes. And write good papers.

So going into the course I had positive feedback from a friend of mine who said she was not difficult and was an easy going teacher. I had a terrible experience with her because she was arbitrary with grading and sometimes completing ignored students who had questions. On papers she does not give explanations as why students got a a certain.

She is a nice person. She is helpful, so when students have questions they should ask her. If you put effort then you will be fine in class. It's college so you have to some time with the work. If students do not take it seriously that is up to them. She is a very smart individual. She smiles a lot. It is a good thing.

She is a really nice lady. She has a group project that is all you really focus on all semester. yes you can only miss 2 classes but it is really not that bad if you have a friend with you. Power points only got me an B with minimum work. Dont buy book unless u feel like reading obv things
