Healy was cranky, longwinded, and difficult. He explained the concepts, but added so much more nonsense onto it that you would only need if you were going for a doctorate. He was rarely there in his office hours, and his tests always had trip-up questions "based" on stuff gone over in class, but usually different. Some from book, most not.

He was such a jerk. He was not helpful at all. I got a A in the course but he is very sarcastic and quick to insult you. He is a cranky old man that needs to change his attitude. Everyone in my class hated him. He was so crabby at times it became funny. Take another teacher for chemistry!!!

Dr. Healey is the best! He takes a no nonsense approach to chemistry and makes it easy to understand. Do the q's at the end of the chapters and you're fine! (No, he doesn't assign any homework, but that's because you're in college now and you're supposed to study without being told to.)

Dr. Healy Rocks!! He is very straight forward in his teaching! No tricks! What you see is what you get. He's very clear about what will be on the test. He is also very helpful if you go to his office he will explain everything!! TAKE HIM FOR CHEM II!!! He teaches you what you need to know!
