Very unclear about what she wants from you. Expects a lot and is extremely nitpicky. Also, she is constantly (!!) interrupting anyone and everyone. Would not recommend.

She singles people out. If youre one of them, good luck on your presentations. The exams are nothing like the quizzes you take to prepare for them. You have to read the book for this course.

So far Ive taken HDFS 129 and 229 and I have to say shes a great professor. Shes very nice and there are a lot of ways to earn points so if you dont do so well on an exam, its not the end of the world. However, her exams are difficult. You definitely need to read the textbook and study a lot. Overall, great classes.

Robin Yaure is one of the best professors. She is organized, intelligent, willing to help, and cares about her students. You need to participate in class for "Active Learning" points and complete assignments. Do not skip or you will not receive points for assignments. She prepares you for exams and is willing to help you pass the course.

Amazing!! Cares about you as a person and your academic career. Although very easy she does challenge you to think. She is a great teacher and overall person. Definitly get to know her outside of class too!

Great prof! The class isn't that difficult if you read the textbook and do the assignments she gives (easy active learning points). She really cares about the students and the subject.

I had professor Yaure for three HDFS classes. 129, 229, and 315 (internship) She is a great prof, she will answer any of your questions and is always willing to meet with you after class to talk about things you may be questioning. She uses angel to post almost everything so that keeps you very organized and easy to track grades. A must take PROF

She is a great professor who knows her info. The classes are interesting and as long as you show up and do your work you'll get a good grade. For HDFS majors it's also a good idea to talk one on one with her. She is a very helpful advisor if you're lucky enough to have her :)

She can't seem to make up her mind about anything in the class. Seemed to make some things up as she went; basis of some theories went against lessons in psychology. Not helpful at all; very unclear about what she wants in class. Will get an A if you show up to every class though.

I don't know what that person is talking about, as long as you show up to class, you get an A. She has a quirky sense of humor, but she's the nicest person in the world, and SO much help... all you have to do is ask

this teacher is very unclear, and she changes her mind a lot. her study guides are too long to pin point what we need to study, like a real study guide should be. i wont take a class form her again :(
