Comment:

Nice person, but largely unresponsive to emails. Class material is 100% straight from the textbook, so a dedicated individual could really learn it all on their own by just buying the book. Course covers Photoshop and Illustrator with occasional larger projects. Posted assignment placement and deadlines are a mess and can be frustrating.

She is a very sweet woman, but she is a tough grader and she is very unclear about what she expects from your homework and activities. Asking her for clarification is very little help. It is an easy class and there aren't any tests, but you will find yourself feeling extremely frustrated with her class structure throughout the entire semester.

Great teacher. If you have not taken the graphics classes or no nothing of photoshop or illustrator thats ok. She allows you to use whatever medium you want to create your projects.

This professor is a really tough grader. I had her for a previous class before this and she didn't disappoint again! She is a really good professor however, and she helps you whenever you need it and always gives constructive criticism. If you don't like doing things over, don't take her class. That is where most of your points will come from.

Professor Reeder is tough but fair. She allows you to redo your assignemets as many times as you want as long as it is turned in on time originally! Don't be afraid to ask for help, and make sure you show up for class, participation matters!!! Would definitely take again.

Just got my grade back; it was a C. For the hard work I put in, she sure thinks we are supposed to be familiar with programs that were never learned. Talked to the adviser who assured me that this class is entry-level and you don't need prior knowledge of graphics. Wrong. You do, for her.

If something comes up & you can't participate, you get an F. But if she can't show up, that's okay. Studied for a month for the final that we never had. Was hoping on it to boost my poor grade. Received an F on project that took over 20 hours of hard effort, on an entry level class where u haven't learned adobe etc yet.

She gives a lot of work but she is a fair instructor. She's also a very sweet person and tries to keep attention and interest in each class. She's the department head of the computer graphics program so stay on her good side, and she might be the one to give you your internship. I like her.

Professor Reeder was an awesome teacher.She honestly let you think for yourself. She was very understanding and fair. Multimedia was a little intense. you should practice as much as you can. She's gives you fun projects, and gives you time to resubmit assignments to get a better grade. You definitely get out what you put in!!KUTGW

I had her for multimedia tech 1 and I thought the class was great. I learned alot but there was never enough time (it seemed) to complete her projects. Word to the wise... PREPARE and get easy photoshop work out of the way 1st. It will make your life easier... She teaches Director; which is an Ok program. Not my fav and the projects were extensive.

Also, she never updates the main assignment thing until the assignment is about to w/ her recorded instructions. She doesnt respond to emails quickly at all. It takes days. Due to her constant absence, i can't say that i liked or disliked this teacher. She's really slow to respond to voicemails or emails and can be a little hard to follow. Really one of those "on the fence" profs, in that some like her, and others hater her. Give her a try, though.
