Comment:

Easygoing, friendly, very smart and always willing to help. Even though he wrote the book you use it's sometimes unclear so asking him questions is helpful when you're confused. You absolutely have to read, his quizzes are very difficult, not because you won't finish in time but because you have to read the question/situation carefully.

Great teacher. I took L201 with Richards, and while attendance isn't mandatory, he gives a quiz every day so it basically is. Just read the book before class and come prepared and it will be an entertaining class to say the least. Any questions that you have in class he will answer and make it so you understand the material perfectly.

Comment:

The best teacher I've had at IU. He uses analogies to explain any questions you have, which helps students understand and remember. He wants his students to succeed, so if you have a question he will make sure you understand it. His quizzes everyday do actually help you for the tests, and by the end you don't mind them. Strongly recommend him!

The only reason people say he is interesting is because he's a story-teller and tries to entertain his classes. He is self-arogant and runs his classroom like a drill sargent. I find him annoying. Class is memorization. If anyone has had McCroy and knows how much he rags on Richards, well you can finally see why. Awful teacher.

He is incredibly entertaining, rare quality in a lecturer, sad to say. If you ask him questions when you are unclear, he will take the time to explain. The lack of clarity is more in law just being f'd up.

This guy is an ****. He comes off all nice in class always talking about his wife and kids, but he is very demanding and you have to be very committed to get an A. Quizzes every day suck, but he did have an optional final.

Very controversial character! Sometimes he gets overly emotional in class, screaming and cursing, sometimes acts like a jerk! But mostly, he keeps the class interesting, yet stressful (quizzes almost every class)...Good training for Law School!
