Dr. Clayton is the worst professor to get for chemistry. He does not teach well and can not speak clearly. If you want an easy grade, then he is a guy for you. If you want to learn, I suggest getting another teacher.

he doesnt relate anything he talks about to chemistry..he talks about the sticker on the back of his car or his daughter..he never stays on topic & he never takes role hes too busy talking..he is funny tho..i wouldnt recommend that you take him if you are at all interested in the science field but if you want an easy grade then go ahead & take him

I had him for chem 101 which inspired me to take him for 102. He doesn't stay on topic but is an easy A. I never studied but he saw that I was in class everyday and stayed awake which was hard to do and he gave me a B. Take him for lab, you can sneak out and leave early because he barely stays in there himself just do the reports.

Dr Clayton is a GREAT comedian, but a sorry teacher who lacks focus. he does help you with whatever you need help with. I love his class because it gives me time to do work for other classes that I may have that day.

If you want to laugh your head off, take Dr. Clayton. If you want to learn, DON'T take Dr. Clayton. He is the funniest, quirkiest prof I have ever had. He gets so worked up and talks about things like gall bladder stones and how he lost a shoe during a riot at a football game. If you;re nice and show some interest, he's very helpful.

Dr.Clayton is a very old and senile man who has sweaty arm pits and sucks on pennies, but his class is not that hard if you can get over him spazing out randomly. I'm afraid that he is going to give himself a heart attack one day. BUT he does help if you go to his office. An easy A!!!
