He is a very easy grader, but if you need a teacher and want to learn something- DON'T TAKE HIM! He gives test questions in advance, participation is pretty much optional, homework is online and easy, but I only learned something because I've read the textbook; learned nothing in his class.

One of the best teachers I've had at Temple. Great guy, really cares about his students, and really gets into his teaching. Easy grader if you show you care and don't totally bs. Don't need the textbook. Tests couldn't be easier: take home midterm and gives you the final before hand to review. I took him for multiple classes because he's great!!!!

I enjoyed this class. Shrank is a good guy and funny too. He makes a lot of jokes and engages his students. His tests are essays to which he gives the questions beforehand. He doesn't fail anyone. No one got an F on a test or assignment that I am aware of. Take him, he makes the material enjoyable and has a lot of experience and knowledge to offer.

Shrank was pretty interesting to say the least. The guy is just nuts! I enjoyed his class even though he went off on his tangents. I worked on his marketing assignments during his lectures at times. You have 3 exams that are memorization, case study, mymarketinglab, newshoes, and marketing plan. If you do work you'll be fine!

Shrank is the best! You have to participate and talk to him about stuff to make him really like you and bump up your grade if needed. He makes a lot of weird comments, just go along and laugh. It will make him like you even more! Very nice man and wants to help students. I would take him for all my classes if I could! Not a lot of work either.

He is a great professor. He grades very fairly, if you put effort into your work he rewards it with a better grade. Most people complain he only gives them Cs, but I looked at what they did compared to what I and others did who got As and I totally agree with giving them a C. His tests are all essays but he gives you the questions a week in advance

I don't know why people like him so much. He rambles, uses the same example for every situation, and may tell the worst jokes of any teacher I have ever had. I is kind of a creep too. Hard grader, but he does know his stuff.

You honestly cannot appreciate how good Shrank is until you've had classes with several other marketing professors. I've had five other professors, and Shrank is far and away the best at Fox. I just wish he'd go back to teaching the capstone, Oliva is terrible.

Shrank is a nice guy with lots of valid life experience to offer. Betting he is a better prof. for the upper lev mrkt courses. Textbook is bad. Contradicts itself on terms and process. Doesn't build on itself. Course tries to be WAY to in depth for an intro course; so, you won't get much out of it. Curriculum makes no sense as part of bus core.
