Extremely hard lab instructor. Labs are mostly taught by the TA's while the instructor just watches. You'll spend more time on the assignments for this 1 credit class than you will for your 4 credit classes.

He is not a bad professor. His tests are very hard and to get a good grade you must put a lot of time into it and show him you are at least trying. He is a very nice guy out of class and in class. I would have taken an easier chemistry though if i knew what the class was like beforehand.

Castejon is not a nice guy at all. He is impatient with students and if you aren't making eye contact with him the whole class he will scream and hit the desks to get your attention.

I did everything in my power to pass this class and still failed (tutors, study groups, went to his office for help, etc.) Unless you have taken numerous chemistry classes in highshool, it doesn't matter how much you study for this class.

This class only easy if you have previously taken AP Chemistry (or something on the same level). His accent is not hard to understand but when he's actually teaching he goes way to fast on the hard stuff and drags on through the easier concepts. His teaching style is not conducive to foundational learning experience. DO NOT TAKE.

I'll be honest, his class is very tough. It moves quickly and he can be a bit hard to understand at times. But all this stuff about having to suck-up to him and visit his office every day is totally absurd. I have yet to visit him in his office, and my average in the class is currently above a 100. Study hard and pay attention, that's all.

His quizzes are tricky, and he does not give partial credit. The final, however, is very similar to the quiz questions. Pay close attention in class because he will test your understanding from his lecture notes. He is definitely difficult, but it is possible to succeed with hard work and careful questioning.

There's no getting around it, his classes are difficult. You have to study your rear end off, read the book, review your notes, and go talk to him. He's intimidating at first, but in private he's a really nice man. People complain his class is too hard. I say this to them: Welcome to college, and stop being so lazy.

Everyone says he's easy but only if you already know the material. Impossible to understand, horrible at explaining. Seems nice but when you go to his office hours he doesn't try to help or care about your grade. Will not hesitate to give you a 0.00 even if you deserve at least a 1.00 does not take effort into consideration, no mercy. Avoid !

He was the worst teacher I had at Wilkes. He's hard to understand and his tests are only possible if you are in his office 24/7. I got a good grade only because I kissed up to him, but if you don't he is mean. Says he wants to help but when you give him ideas of how he says he can't do that. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
