Professor Davidoff was such an amazing professor. Each and every lesson is super clear and it goes at a great pace. If you pay attention, his class will be a breeze. Many. of the things he taught, I feel as though I will remember for life. 100% recommend everyone to take Davidoff at least once, he is a funny guy.

This class was so challenging. Mon thru Thurs, hw is posted on blackboard: assignment and discussion - which must be submitted by 5pm each day. For me it took about 3 hrs to get the work done daily. Midterm 30 ques (1.5 hrs), final 40 ques (2 hrs), both difficult, both difficult.

Graded on midterm, final, bookreview, if HW was submitted on time, and attendance. Respectful, professional, gentleman, answers emails promptly. Expect to read the textbook if you want a good grade. Tests are fair. First half of the semester there are some online classes which means an assignment is due by email instead of in person lecture.

Comment:

Hes a very nice, energetic professor. Took his online class. Assignments due twice a week. Every assignment count as 1 point extra credit and he adds that to your midterm/final score. Midterm is 50% final is 50%. So you just have to study well for the exams. Dont miss the assignments because without them itll be very tough to get a good grade.

If you want a class that involves minimal work and you won't know the stuff and still get an A, then THIS IS NOT THE PROFESSOR FOR YOU. If you want to learn really interesting subject matter and know it then take this class. It is interesting and Proffessor Davidoff keeps it interesting. Just a midterm and final which are all multiple choice.

Very condescending but funny. Worst thing is that you will have to teach yourself which isn't a good quality for a professor to have in my opinion. He also did not provide us with a format of what the test will look like. He is well educated in the matter but starts to talk about irrelevant things and skips over a lot of the material. (:

If you want to be taught then I suggest taking this course with another prof. This class was super stressful and you basically teach yourself. He only goes over the background of the material but the rest is up to you. For the midterm and final there arent reviews or anything so you have to study ridiculous amounts of material. Run far away!!!

Prof. Davidoff is an okay professor. His exams are very straight forward, not too difficult. He gives a ton of homework. And participation matters in his class!

I am going out of my way for YOUR BENEFIT. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I don't rate professors but this one needed to be done. his voice bothers me. he sings while he talks, tries to be funny but noo. don't understand material. didn't take this class for just for the credits, took it to learn something but I feel dumber in the subject and more stressed.

He's a great professor, I don't know what the rest of these reviews are talking about, he's a great lecturer and knows what he's talking about. Gives 2 tests and a written assignment which comes out to your total grade, and the tests aren't that bad, you just have to know the information like every other class. Learned a lot this semester from him.

One of the worst professors I have ever had. I came to school to learn and to be taught. I did not come to school to have a professor do everything in his power to fail me. the fact that this man calls himself an educator is a joke. I basically taught myself. Do not take this class!

Davidoff knows what hes talking about, he is extremely interesting. He comes into class everyday happy and wanting to teach. He teaches with a passion. It is very pleasant to see a professor enjoy what they teach and strive for the students to learn. I can see why everyone hates him, but i would recommend taking him because he knows his stuff.

Comment:

Took him for online Busn Law 2 because I had no choice. Pretty big workload in terms of reading and number of chapters. Gives big curve on exam for all HW's and discussion boards. Class is entirely self taught from book. Take only if going to law school or going into investment banking and want to see workload/ cram crazy amount of info in semester
