Mr. K is an EXCELLENT professor. Don't miss class. He covers a lot of ground each class, so you'll miss out. He doesn't use MyITLab. HW is given from review sheet and the book. He lets you take photos of the HW probs from his book at the end of class if you don't have the book. I'm taking him again in Fall for another class.

Mr. Karahouni is awesome! I'm not very good at math and he made it seem like a piece of cake! He gives quizzes every Friday and homework regularly, but if you show up you'll get the material easily. He is a great explainer and is open to questions in class if extra help is needed.

Would recommend him to anyone taking Pre-Cal 2, especially if you have to continue into regular Cal. Test are exactly what you go over, final is optional. His lectures are very easy to go along with and he explains VERY well. Use textbook for some homework.

He is a great professor. His class is difficult and he will make you earn your grade. But he wants you to succeed and is willing to help you. You take 4 tests and he only counts 3 for your grade. HW is also part of your test grade; which can improve your test score juristically.

Professor Karahouni is a passionate teacher. He will over the example until he feels you get it. Unless you're great in Algebra and Calculus, do attend class and do your homework. He has an 80:20 grading ratio system; 80% test and 20% homework; final is optional and he gives opportunity to bring up a whole letter grade. Awesome!

There's quizzes every Friday, heads up. He's an awesome professor, but be careful if you are deaf. He is kind, but incredibly soft spoken - help may be needed at times. Don't be afraid to ask for explanations.

HE IS A GENIUS. I'm absolutely terrible at math, but I've passed this class with ease. He has a way of explaining things that just makes sense. He's very helpful and will answer any questions. Preparation for the tests is amazing. I wish I could take him for all my math classes. I would give anything if I could go back and take him for 0371.

I took this class over a summer course which was only 25 days long so we had a LOT of work. He may not be that way during a regular semester, I do not know. There was a lot of homework, but we did half of it in class before it was even due.

Great Instructor! If you attend class and take notes you will pass the class. I would have liked to get reviews for exams but he does give HW out of the book which helps. Very clear and understanding. Best Calculus professor.

BY FAR THE MOST AMAZING MATH TEACHER AT LAMAR!!! I WISH HE COULD TEACH COLLEGE ALGEBRA 1314. HE'S VERY HELPFUL AND IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HE IS ALWAYS THERE TO HELP YOU AFTER AND BEFORE CLASS. He is by far the BEST math teacher that I have had while at Lamar. He makes you work and takes hw for a grade. He takes problems from the book for the hw, examples, and tests. He breaks everything thing down and NEVER skips ANY steps(even if its simple addition that you can do in your head). Plus he is always available and willing to explain more.

Lamar University is blessed to have a teacher like him. He is the best math teacher. I sucked at math when I started. I took my developmental from him all the way until my calc. I have learned a lot from him. He makes you work hard but its worth it. Take him ! be committed there is no way that you wont make an A . Just do you homework and practice.

Took this as a refresher course in math, and it prepared me well for all of the other courses I've taken in math since then. He is one of the best, most understanding professors I've ever had. He really cares about his students and that they understand the material.
