Proffessor McLaughlin was a great teacher. Taking notes is a must if you want to pass the class. There are lots of projects but there pretty easy. Take home midterm essay and final essay and the tests are pretty easy if you study your notes. Great lectures too.

Although her online assignments were easy to follow, the turn around time for grades was awful. It would take her 2-3 weeks to grade an assignments. Her reply to messages would take about 2 days. The last time I messaged her she did not even reply.

I LOVED Prof. Sabio! One of my favorite instructors and course. Her Blackboard was organized and easy to follow (which is important for an online class). Her assignments were interesting and fun. I learned so much from her Women Studies 101 class.

I took WMST 101 online last semester. I have taken online classes before, and she should not be teaching them. I was upset with my grade, so I scheduled an appointment to see her. She was nice in person and made it easier to understand my grade. She is probably an excellent teacher in person, but online, not at all.

Professor Sabio-McLaughlin was one of the better professors I've had at ccbc. There are a lot of assignments throughout the semester but only 2 exams- midterm and final. If you complete the assignments and study then it's an easy A. An extra credit assignment was offered at the end of the semester.

You will work for your grade. took her during a 5 week summer course. Lots of reading and participation in discussion boards MANDATORY. Offers extra credit, but if you do the readings and participate you won't need it. Exam is half multiple choice half fill in the blanks. I received an A. It was a lot of work for 5 weeks, but it wasn't difficult.

Professor Sabio is the best! Even though I took an online course, there was a lot of reading and participation required. It was all very interesting, though, and the workload was never overwhelming. She's always available for help if you need it, and does a great job of explaining everything.

Professor Sabio really makes you work for your grade. There's a lot of reading and discussion for her online course, but if you put forth the effort, you will earn an A. As a woman, her Women's Studies course was incredibly worthwhile. She was awesome.

I absolutely love Professor Sabio. I took her twice for African American Studies and Womens Studies Honors. She is by far the best Professor at CCBC. Her classes can be tough and challenging but its worth it. She gives extra credit and is always available for office hours. I thought I knew everything but she'll definitely teach you more. THE BEST!!

I took an honors course with her. She is an excellent teacher; I definately would recommend her. It is a lot of work, but the tests are fair. She opens your mind up to things you were previously unaware of. In short, don't leave CCBC without taking one of her classes!

I took this class online. very nice teacher. We read a couple of articles everyweek and answered questions(most opinion questions) on blackboard. I hate to write, and she made us write 3 essays but they were easy. no perticular format, just answer the questions fully. study the info on the study sheet she gives you for mid term and final.

She is the best, really. She is one of the nicest and most helpful professors I have met. Her class is not the easiest class. She requires about 5 to 6 papers during the semester but if you put in the effort, you would at least pass the class. I would stongly advise taking her class.

Sabio is one of the most interesting professors I have had the honor of meeting.I took her class online.This was my first online course. Test are hard,but information can be found mostly from power point slides.I failed the first test,but the good thing about her class is if you not a test taker.She offers extra credit and other forms of grading.
