Dr. Halpern is one of the greatest professors I have had. In addition to doing an outstanding job teaching the material, he was very supportive and gives incredibly helpful real world advice for counseling students. There are countless things I have learned from him that will undoubtedly help me as a professional. Thanks Dr. Halpern!

His tests are ridiculous. I have never in my life been given a 12 point curve and still done horrible. The majority of his class isn't doing great which is a shame since half of us are disaster studies minors. He needs to change his teaching style because our grades are going to be a sad sad thing!!!! Take the class with someone else.

He is an excellent teacher who is very knowledgable and willing to help whenever possible. He grades fairly and usually on a curve, but you have to actually go to the class to pass. If you like psych it's a great opportunity, if not, you'll find it hard.

Dr.Halpern is an excellent teacher. He's intelligent and very interesting. His lectures are stimulating; it's is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to be bored in his class.
