I had him for Modern Physics I, he's the best and most helpful professor this university has. His exams are all very fair.

Comment:
For 1050 he gives 6 tests during the semester with 15 questions a piece, they are not hard, but they are like brain teasers.. He curved this past pretty significantly. Overall though he is a good professor who does a decent job teaching his class, but watch out for the tests, they can be a bit tricky.

I didn't do much in this class and I think I might be able to pull off the B...how about that. I wouldn't suggest anyone do the same thing. If you actually do your homework and don't fall asleep in class you can do it. I just studied the night before and did surprisingly well a few times. Sure, take him.

The class was boring, but Dr. Joyce is very helpful, especially if you go to him during office hours. The course material was confusing, but it wasn't because of the way he teaches. Paying attention will be a challenge, but if you can do it, you should come out okay.

A lot of students in my class had serious trouble. Make sure you talk to him, and go to class if you're having trouble - it will definitely affect your grade. He gave a huge curve in my class.

He does not explain much of the material, so you have to read the book on your own. However, he is a very nice and helpful man.

Comment:
Very difficult subject material. Since the exams are just a handful of homework problems, there is little incentive to do much more than memorize solutions a week before the test. I got an A in the class but didn't really learn too much. Very nice guy and very approachable.
