Comment:

Constantly flustered throughout the class, makes mistakes often during examples. She seems like she knows the material, but struggles to articulate it during lecture. Spends far too much time on trivial things, then gives tests on the complex concepts which weren't covered very well. Don't expect tests to look like anything you've seen in class.

Very enthusiastic, which can be annoying and childish at times. Easy to understand and willing to help if you don't understand. Tests are pretty much on par with the rest of the class. Tough course, but she taught it well and I learned a lot from her.

teaches graduate students as if they were high school kids. too physical in her explanations. discusses trivial topics in class without much emphasis on the actual basics or syllabus. seems to be intelligent but just needs to get across more of the knowledge she has to the students. needs to be more organized.

Overly energetic in front of the class. Goes through overly simplified examples in class, and then gives MUCH more complex problems as homework. Too much weekly homework (3+ hours twice a week). Quizzes are not overly difficult though. Convinced her to go over some homework problems in class, and she often makes mistakes and gets confused..funny

Ziemer's biggest problem is that she assigns homework on material that she hasn't explained yet. That is makes it very difficult to do well on the hw. Her tests aren't overly hard, but she should give more time for the in-class quizzes. She is very nice and seems to care. I woould rate her so-so....
