I loved this class! It feels like a family-Most of the class is "open podium" where you talk about pretty much whatever you want just to get used to public speaking. Knutson is a little hypocritical and biased-likes to talk about himself but is pretty nice, semi relaxed about absences -I look forward to the class & love the people I met in it

Best class i have ever taken at app. I still find myself using the things i learned in this class. i wasnt nervous about public speaking before but now getting up in front of the class is a breeze. the class becomes like your family. no need to prepare a huge speech. just go up and talk about whatever you want. but make sure you go to class!

best teacher I have ever had in college. This class is amazing and I reccommend it to everyone, you absolutely will not regret taking this one! It is not the typical public speaking class, you dont have to turn in any speeches, trust me you will want to come to class!

Excellent professor, lets the sstudents basically run the class. I was one of the students who felt they didn't need this class, but still learned a ton. Its an easy class so long as you contribute, and don't be bashful, because you'll know every student in class quite well when its all over...

Such a great class. As long as you talk you'll get an A. It's so easy to open up and the classroom becomes just like a family, a get away from the traditional classroom. He's really good about absences and just a great guy! LOVED this class.

take the class. Most will say it is easy because there is no outside work but if your not a public speaker or uncomfortable in front of people it has the ability to be hard. He is good about helping you out with potential speech apprehension. He has his opinions...just ignore him if you don't agree with him (its not worth the fight)

awesome professor. class is easy but a lot of fun. at the end of the semester you feel so comfortable speaking in front of the class that youll understand why you took the class. no exams, but attendance is very important. just talk as much as possible

Very easy class, grades very easy. Like others said, just get up and talk and you'll do fine. However, do not EVER call him out on his BS. He will talk down to you when you are not there and generally act like a spoiled child being told "no." Just nod and smile and you'll do fine.

Nice guy. Not too many actual speeches, laid back atmosphere, no final exam, talk talk talk as much as you can and you'll get an A...and don't miss class, you lose points for the day and only get a set amount of absences! Easy A..go to class!
