Took Kraus for about 3 english courses. One was a hybrid course (half in class and half online) and the other two were both fully online. Uploads assignments either week by week or all at once using edwebs site. Honestly if you do all the assignments he asks for you will guarantee get an A.

Comment:

Recently took class EN201 and it had a lot of academic value to me. Great reading selection and prepared to read a lot- it worth the effort. Tough class but very interesting and rewarding. Dr. Kraus responded to all of my emails within 24 hours. Highly recommended!

Comment:

Online class was interesting, learned a lot. Fun class. Fun assignments, readings and videos. Inspirarional best literature class yet. Would take a class from Dr. Kraus again. Only negative is he takes awhile to grade assignments and doesn't respond to emails consistently.

Professor Kraus gives good feedback when you asks for it. He is also great to set up meeting time for more help. Took his hybrid class, meet only on Tuesdays, off Thursdays. Great thing to look forward to, the last part of my week.

It's an online literature class, so expect to read. However, Professor Kraus provides all the reading material online, and allows you to watch movies of some of the more difficult reads. His 'lectures' are great, good review, and several extra credit options. He's quick to respond to email. I would definitely take another class from him.

Great class! I've always hated online courses. However, this course was so AWESOME! He has really great 'lectures' (a written post you read each week) and all the readings were available online free. I highly recommend this professor if you decide on online courses.

Great Class & Professor. He is so helpful and quick to reply. Maine focus was on poetry, weekly forums, 3 short essays ( they were really easy), a few movies... yes it is quite a bit of work, but it isnt hard, and its really interesting. I hate ENG...but I loved this class...its nothing like your usual boring english class. Take it, its an easy A!

What to say about Dr. Kraus. He's an extremely easygoing professor who is VERY lenient when it comes to missing due dates and submitting late work. The online portion of his class that included a chat session with the entire class was a bit of a waste of time in my opinion, however. But if you want an easy A and slack off, take Kraus.

I hate his class. Not helpful at all. He told me he wanted to approve my question to do interviews he never approved it. So I completely gave up on his class.

Dr. K is a GREAT English Prof. Took online class with him, he uses a great online interface that has an online book with resources. He's super helpful and quick to respond to questions. He actually helped me with a credit transfer issue I was having (an English transfer). Would definitely recommend and take another class with him!
