I had Dr. Woods for Senior Seminar. He was very rude and of virtually no help while writing my paper, which I credit to the fact that his area of interest is not European history. He had me on the verge of tears in our meetings. Made others cry as well. Acts like a pompous know it all. However, he's probably better than Jenkins. :)

U.S. History II, he gives a study guide for all of his tests and you have one 3 to 5 page paper. The only thing I didn't like is that his tests all had a 50 point essay at the end but really you have a study guide.

His lectures are pretty good, makes class interesting, But his test...omg really hard. Few multiple choice, Identify IDs, and an essay question that you can never really answer the way he wants it. He gives extra credit though.

The only thing easy about Dr. Woods is that he is easy on the eyes. Even though I had a hard time paying attention is class do to his stunning good looks. I managed to pass by taking good notes, and staying after class every chance I got with this HOT CHILLY PEPPER. Don't buy the book and study the IDs.

Go to class, but only take notes on IDs. Everything else is pointless. If you happen to fall asleep, just wikipedia the IDs and you'll be fine. Very boring and hard to follow if you have no interest in US History. DON'T BUY THE BOOK! DON'T BUY IT! No quizzes over readings. You get discussion points once a week, so be there on discussion days.

wonderful teacher. DON'T BUY THE BOOK, even though he says on the first day you will need it.. you won't. And, for girls, his distinguished good looks might be distracting.. but still... i enjoyed having him as a prof.

Knows What he is talking about. If you are not good at writing essays then dont take the class. He depends too much on the essays and they are 50% of the test. If you still wind up with him then go to class and take good notes and study those ids....DONT BUY THE BOOK

A world of a difference better than Moses!!! He allowed for a little extra credit and gave other assignments other than just test scores. He gave one document research paper at the end. He tests off of the i.d.'s he gives on power point and in lecture. Take Him!!!

history is a hard class, the book he uses is pointless, but if you attend class, and take notes like your life depends on it, the tests are easy, and he's doesn't grade too hard on the research paper. Plus, for an older guy he's not that bad looking, i had a mini crush on him.

This guy knows his stuff. If you have no interest in US History though, don't take him. He is very clear and articulated in his lessons and is easy to understand, but his tests reflect that he knows what he's talking about. If I had an interest in history, I would love to have him as a professor agian.

I didn't like Dr. Woods very much. He's kind of know it all. He seems to favor guys. His test are pretty hard and if you don't do good on the essays, you can forget making a good grade in his class.
