He loved my friends and I because we talked to him and tried to always participate. He seems scary at first but he's really nice. The quizzes start off open book but then switch to not. Something I found out too late was a student made quizlets of most of the quizzes. LOOK THEM UP, TRUST ME. As long as you genuinely try, you'll do fine.

Jerry is nice one day, mean the next. I learned a lot and he is a good professor just get on his good side. Stay off your phone and laptop. You need to read for the quizzes, if you do you will be fine. Stay organized so he doesnt get aggravated with you. Overall the final was easy and we did 4 fun projects. Get ready to socialize, lots of groupwork

Gave us ideas to do things during projects then later took points off because he didnt like what we did?! Even though he gave us the idea. Never show up late, he will resent you for it. Bring headphones and stay off your phone he will tell you to get off. Comes off snobbish and intelligent, quizzes are impossible the further you get into the class.

Jerry is an interesting guy. He claims to have worked in television and radio extensively and feedback he gives on assignments reflect a sense of aesthetics. His instruction and knowledge of topics related to the course is lacking. He tries to tell you falsehoods. The only reason I did well in his class is that I knew and was interested before.

He seems nice, but is very condescending. Too many assignments, to the point where you literally had to write a script in about two nights. First day of class he had us read a 20 page copyright law and write a paper about it. So if that even remotely sounds fun to you maybe you should take this class.

Jerry is a pretty cool guy. He ALWAYS uses the textbook so make sure you read/bring it. There's a quiz every week on the readings. You'll learn a lot from him, and as long as you don't annoy him or try too hard to be his friend he'll love you.

Jerry knows his stuff. One half of the year you do tv and the other half is radio. The classes are very fun - I didn't hate one class. The first day can be intimidating but it's very hands on and you'll get it. If you don't do the reading you will not pass the quizzes, which are EXTREMELY hard. If you do well on the projects you'll be fine.

Great teacher! Showed relevant movie clips and commercials. Lets you do your own thing as long as there's a story. Funny guy, relates to students. Take as many classes with Jerry Gambell as you can!!!
