Loved Professor Palmer!! A very sweet goofball. Bless his heart. Cares about his students and their understanding of material, however, never responds to emails or questions and a lot goes over his head. Some quizzes didnt line up well. Very laid back guy. Would take him again tho.

Jerry Palmer is a one of a kind professor. He always shows videos in class about what he is lecturing over, to ensure that the class understands. While the tests are worded difficultly, they are all online.

Comment:

I loved the professor and adored the class -- I always thought his cheesy jokes and videos were awesome. He is a super sweet old man and I wish every prof was like this. However, he has a poor way of wording exam questions and does not respond to emails. My final was basically just over the last 4 weeks of material learned.

Comment:

Professor Palmer makes class so fun with his many videos and his funny personality! I went to class probably 1 time a week and passed with an A. The tests are online and he puts all of his lectures on blackboard. No homework outside of a paper at the end of the course. Definitely recommend!!!

His tests have all been online -- and out of the class room-- so, although the automatic response is to cheat on an online, at-home test, you don't really even need to abuse the online test. He teaches this material very well. Hilarious professor and jokes around pretty well in class. Also, he is very helpful and wants the students to succeed.

Always made the lectures interesting and fun! He always showed us videos regarding the topic we were on to help better explain. He also puts all his notes taken in class on blackboard after every lecture if you miss class! He also pushes back test dates if he feels as if the class is not ready. Definitely one of the best professors I've had.

Love this professor! He knows that classes can be boring so he tries to make class entertaining, fun, and interesting by showing a lot of cool videos throughout class (on the subject of course). He is so nice and caring and will work with you if you need help or don't understand your grade. Tests are over the exact notes you take in class.

Find a way to get the notes and show up to the class period before the test for a review that is just like the test! No homework, just one really easy essay. I would highly recommend!

Your only grades in here are tests, one paper, and outside activity credits. As long as you show up to lecture you will do great on the tests. (you can actually still get an A without going as long as you get notes from someone). His lectures are fun and entertaining. He is very cooperative and helpful. I would 100% take this class again.

Mr. Palmer was a great professor. He always gave great study tools for tests and was very helpful. You can tell he is passionate about what he teaches and he truly wants students to succeed. I would definitely take his class again! No homework, you just have to take notes and study for tests!

I loved Dr. Palmer! Such a class act and hilarious man. I looked forward to every Psych class. Loves to tell jokes in order to engage students. Attendance wasn't mandatory and the class is very easy and fun. I wish I could take more of Dr. Palmer's classes!

Loved this professor! Makes class enjoyable and as painless as possible. His priority is that everyone clearly understands the material, so he will review frequently. Studying for tests is necessary as they are largely application based. Get ready to watch a lot of videos during lectures. Very much recommend him as a professor!

Palmer is my favorite professor I have had so far at Eastern. He is hilarious and makes psychology interesting, and makes sure everyone understands what he talks about during lecture. He makes an effort to learn everyone's name and truly cares about how you're doing in class. Lots of in class video watching and talking about his cats.

Palmer is an awesome teacher. It's an easy class. He gives study guides and they are your test. You don't really need your book because he uses powerpoints, don't take notes in class either he puts them on BB.

One of my favorite professors! He is slow to grade assignments, but a very easy class if you study. He does review days before exams and tries to make the exams easy enough. No homework other than the SONA studies that all PSY 200 classes require. Other than that it's exams and one term paper. He posts study material on Bb and gives extra credit.

Palmer was has been my favorite professor. He understands what content is boring for students so he teaches in a way that is always exciting. He is always eager to help people get a better understanding of the material and takes a personal interest in his students success. Attend class and you shouldn't have a problem getting an A.
