Dr. Chen is one of the people who have inspired me to remain on my track to research China. He is very enlightened as he lived through much of what he teaches. His books are just as insightful. One of my favorite teachers.

He's an excellent professor. He grades a little more difficult then most professors - just be specific and to the point on tests. You will know what material will be covered on the test. He's willing to spend a lot of time out of class helping you.
