Hes an okay teacher. Hw usually is much more difficult than exams, and takes forever to complete. Attending reviews are a must. Exam questions are from the review and hws, and he may even mention in class which hw questions to pay attention to. The Final exam was much harder than the midterms. It's still possible to do well.

I really liked him. He was straight forward with his teaching. Showed everything step by step and even showed how things were intergrated. I also found that alot of the practice/ hws were used on the exams. Do hw for extra credit!

Nice guy, but his class is boring as hell. The previous semester I had a firecracker of a math teacher. She was funny, she involved the class in all the problems, she answered questions, and unlike him she barely relied on a calculater or her notes to do the examples she gave in class. Sorry if you have to take this class.

Prof. Jin is a good teacher. Slight but not overly significant language barrier. Although class attendance isnt mandatory IF YOU WANT A GOOD GRADE GO TO CLASS!! Do your HW's they help! He goes over them the following class. His Tests are based on the HW's and class examples. Furthermore its information that is useful later on in life. I Recommend!!

This guy is great! I took Math of Finance just for some credits and I must say, not only have I learned numerous things about loans and investing, but I also got help investing my money in the right places to make some cash with pure interest. He is kind and understanding and should be respected by the students who want to learn

I had his MATH 131 class for this summer.We had three exams but he carved the one of the lowest grade except final exam. The course was really hard, but he gave us a lot of chances to get good grade. He is really nice teacher in Math!

He is horrible, the worst I've had only 2 classes and I had to drop because he does not teach well.. The book has the answers so he assigns everything out of the book for you to teach yourself and NOTHING is ever explained or gone over so if you think you'll get help with the problems, GOOD LUCK. I highly DO NOT recommend for anyone! Please beware.

Nice guy but not great at explaining. He tries but he just can't seem to explain well. There is a little bit of a language barrier but it really not that bad. You basically have to teach your self the subject because he never answers your questions but he is really nice so it makes the class tolerable.

As with any Math 131 class you take, you will need to learn the material thoroughly to pass the class. There is no shortcuts around this class. The class was a bit boring, but you will need to pay attention in class. Just know the material and do the homework and the tests should be fine.

This calss was terrible. The teacher is nice, but sucks as a teacher. His tests are unclear, and his teaching style is worse than anythign I have ever seen. If you take this calss, you will be unhappy. He doesn't do any examples on the board. He assigns homework that has nothing to do with what he did on the board, but doesn't explain it.
