Comment:

Enjoyed his class and learned a lot. Great sense of humor. If you speak up in class he will be happy to engage you in dialog. This goes for any student, regardless of background. Challenges the students to think and figure things out (Example: Prospectus assignment required us to know what the Dow Jones Composite Average is). Recommend him!

Comment:

A tough grader. he favors students and the ones he doesn't favor he will grade harshly. Avoid at all costs if you do well in his course and get high grades on the test and miss an assignment or two he will give you a D. I got an 86 on the final and a 88 on the midterm and missed 2 assignment and he gave me a D+ harsh grader and not helpful at all.

His lectures are fast but the material he went over is not hard. You could catch up soon by scanning the textbook. Most works including two open book exams are straight forward. The only hard work in the term paper which weights 20%. If you want A in his class, you must write a good term paper

Good professor but nearly impossible to get an A. About 5 or 6 graded written hw, a long term paper, midterm and final all essay format. He doesn't give back any feedback on the assignments so it is impossible to improve. only 1 A given out in 2 sections. you will learn but probably won't get an A

At first the class seems tough, but it's really not as long as you study and do the required work. A midterm, a final, an optional extra credit 11 page paper and various EASY assignments(just print out stuff)Funny,nice, eccentric professor that tells funny stories. Attendance mandatory and must do 2 case briefs for full participation. Recommended

He has a stuttering problem, but once you get used to it, you don't notice it as much. He writes what he's going to go over in class on the board beforehand, which makes note-taking easier than most classes. Write down what he puts on the board, fill in the blanks with his lecture. Reading the book along with notes will near guarantee a B or better

This Bus Law II class is a great class. Even though there are a lot of assignment but they are very straight-forward. 1 midterm and a final which is fair. Multiple choices. He takes attendance every class. Each student should do two cases a semester which counts for 10% of final grade. Overall, he is good and fair.

Excellent Prof that is consistent with his standard/policy and grades fairly. Grading is broken down to midterm/final and various projects (prospectus & etc). Very clear and writes an outline of his lecture on black board. Participation is encouraged. By far one of the better accounting professors QC has.

Highly recommended. Easy and straight forward. Notes are a given which is a plus since most professors don't write a thing on the board.He makes the class and understanding of it worthwhile.

professor has a speech problem, but can be an inspiration for ppl who have the same problem (he became a lawyer and prof.) funny professor, takes attendance every class, and when u come in late, he calls your name and says so and so is here and he marks you down. open book, open cheat sheet exams..lol reccomended

This professor has a speech problem. He can't seem to speak with any sort of clarity, and stutters all the time. This makes his lectures worthless. The exams are open book and not at all hard if you read before the exam. Just make sure to do his briefs and the other assignments; they're easy and straight forward. Only difficult thing is term paper.

My sister had him 4 years ago so I knew what to expect. Lots of reading & beyond just textbook. You gotta stay with it. Busts chops on termpaper research & citetation. But he has good way of explaining concepts (including funny stories from personal experiance). A little weak in feedback, so go to him yourself or email him. Enjoyed it overall!

Ryesky's such a dork that it's kinda cute. His class at first seems like a lot of work but it's easy when you get down to it. His reviews don't help but all you need to do is READ the book right before the exams bc it's not hard or tricky. No required HW, notes aren't useful, entertaining stories! Seriously though, just READ, Read, and read! Easy A
