Mac was a wonderful professor. Honestly, the best I've ever had. The work could be quite difficult at times, but it was always very beneficial. It was very easy to tell that he cared for his students and was genuinely interested in their well being.

He is the best English teacher I've had. He wants to know what your interests are and wants to give you feedback on your choices and what you want to do with your life. The class is monotonous, and you will fail if you skip class more than twice, but if you go every day and write all your critiques, you'll pass no problem.

Mac is a very cool guy. He is the neatest English teacher I've had. The class is very monotonous in a sense. From the fourth week in, you'll do the same thing EVERY DAY. I did not like this aspect of the class. I wouldn't worry about buying any books, accept maybe Montana 1948. The rest of the stories can be found online. Overall very cool guy.

Comment:
Lots of journal entries in this class, lots of books to buy. Need to be in attendance, and he has a rigid time schedule. If you go to class, it's easy to get an A. Gives good feedback on papers and is helpful. Kind of a boring class.

Mac is a great guy. The way he conducts class is strange at first, but you really get to know everyone in a sense and you feel very comfortable to speak up. The work load can be quite stressful sometimes, but he's good at what he does. He's helped my writing dramatically.

He is a strong believer in busy work. You get tons of homework that you don't learn much from. There is too much homework and too little learning. You learn by grading others papers, which you could have done on your own. It's very repetitive, and makes you want to rip your hair out.

Attendance is a must in this class. Out of 1400 points, 800 was attendance. It was a very easy class.
