I was really enthusiastic about the subject International Business and Policy in Latin America, however my experience learning in Jorge's program left a lot to be desired. Seminars were directionless, lectures were redundant and Jorge would frequently become openly hostile in the face of criticism. I would avoid taking future programs from him.

Comment:

Jorge Gilbert was one of the best professors I've ever had. He is not terribly approachable by a general student populace, but know that his distance has nothing to do with the color of your skin (I am white). He is a wealth of knowledge, very funny on a personal level, and has a priceless amount of world experience.

Jorge is what evergreen needs. Evergreeners (faculty and students) are generally so caught up in their "Liberal" learning styles that they fail to see that there are others ways outside of this institution, and Jorge brings it. He is a rebel to the administration, and if you can handle his class and not be a **** about it, you will be blown away
