Julie is an awesome teacher. She is very excited about children's literature, and if half the people in the world had her kind of passion about a subject it would be an awesome place to live. There are no major tests (even better) but a lot of reading (duh) and interaction is required. Overall, I would say take her (even if you aren't an ed. major)

Julie Rocks! Lots of presentations and you begin to really love children's lit after taking her class. You will wind up being broke from all of the book orders b/c you'll want to buy most of them! Take her, you won't be disappointed

I loved this class! It's so awesome when you can tell that an instructor loves the subject that she is teaching. I really enjoyed the books that we read. No tests, lots of group work and a couple of presentations. Easy A!
