Comment:

Karen is the best! Her class is demanding and she definitely pushes you to be your best, but you will be so glad you took a class with her. She is a teacher, advisor, friend, coach, cheerleader, and mother all in one professor. There is nothing that woman can't do.

Comment:

Karen is a very informative and successful woman and she will make sure you know that. Karen is constantly talking about Karen which makes class sometime frustrating, yet sometimes interesting. Let's just say she is proud of her achievements and will make sure you know that! She comes off as rude because if she doesn't agree with you, you're done!

Karen Anderson is super sweet and really tries her best to understand the students around her. She proritizes her relationships with her students in order to maintain a well respected classroom. She has high expectations and is a harder grader, but she is worth the hard work. You'll want to do well in her class because she is a very sweet person!!

Karen is a great professor! She is very good at relating her lectures to the real world of teaching. No tests and a few papers, which are single-spaced for some odd reason. Overall, very understanding and effectively facilitates a lively classroom.

Karen has been my favorite professor I have had so far in college as she always is clear about her intentions as a teacher and is very fair. She does assign a lot of work however, but there are no tests!

While Karen does think Karen knows everything in the world and it can be annoying, Karen does know a lot. Her class makes you think and is a really good introductory education class in how much you learn. Lots of reading and a decent amount of papers, but they are worthwhile assignments. A bit of a tough grader, but is willing to help!

Karen is an awesome teacher.She has the best stories and uses a lot of different sources to explain topics.She is a somewhat strict grader but not too bad. She does care about her students and will help out any way she can. Only 4 papers, and some reading questions and a final that was not bad at all.

Karen is pretty great! She always has the best stories and examples for class. Class periods are mostly made up of lectures and questions. There are a few papers that are medium length and one hands on project, not counting the final exam. She is sort of a strict grader, but all you need to do is answer all questions.

Karen Anderson is LOVE. She is a wonderful professor and truly brilliant. She grades kind of hard and there is a lot of reading that you must keep up with. There are a lot of papers but there are NO tests. She has a true passion for teaching and being with her twice a week was a pleasure! TAKE HER FOR ANY ED CLASS YOU CAN

Karen is so passionate about everything she does. I took her for foundations of education. She is a wonderful person and has so much personality. You'll never be bored in her class. She assigns A LOT of reading, so be prepared for that. There are some papers, but no tests. A very good teacher overall. You have to stay on top of the info/reading.

Best teacher I've had at Stonehill since the day I started. She's brilliant about the world of children in early childhood and I feel confident that I will be a good teacher because of all she has helped me learn.

It was a fun class, but too early in the morning. You can tell she enjoys the subject and she loves kids, but she's always talking about her nieces and it gets kind of annoying. It's mostly discussion and the papers are based on your opinion. So it's not hard but she's picky when she grades.

Incredible Teacher. Work isn't that hard, but it's worthwhile. You learn a ton in her class and it's interesting too. She doesn't test you, her papers aren't hard and she's easy to please if you pay attention and participate. She's a fascinating person and she levels with you as an equal. I would reccomend ANY class of hers because she's so good.

Anderson is one of the best professors I have ever taken. She is so interesting and class is a breeze to get through. I learned a lot, and her passion for teaching has encouraged me to pursue early care. Recommend for all people who like kids!

This class was extremely disappointing. I was looking foward to taking it because of all the wonderful things I had hear. However, we ended up spending more time talking about her life than the actual material. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

she thinks that she is so informative and so smart but usually half the stuff she taught me or told me to do didn't usually work. She liked to critize things that i was told by the school i was student teaching in, was ok to do. it was annoying

LOVE her! she is very intelligent. hard grader, but she will teach you so much. Just do the work, go to class, participate and you'll be fine. SHE ROCKS!
