Comment:

I would not recommend. She does not seem to care. I had a debate at 8pm on a Thursday night, so I took off work just to refresh my page for 3 hours because she didn't care to post the module. She will take multiple days to get back to any emails you have. When your open ended questions on a test are correct she will rarely give you full points.

Comment:

Doesn't always give the most clear instructions and then when you email her she responds with just a few words. The debates were pretty dumb bc the forum is not designed for them and you are required to attend at specific times which i thought was strange for an online class. Easy A bc you can google all test answers, don't expect to learn much.

Comment:

She has no respect for students, and is very condescending. She doesn't care for your success in the class or if you actually learn anything. You can google the answers to every test and worksheet, but as easy as it is you can still fail pretty easily. Clare is a poor excuse for an educator. She should quit or be fired.

Comment:

You won't learn in this class and that's the way it's set up. There are 4 exams and you can actually Google the answers for all of them. I got a better grade Googling answers than when I studied. Also, there was a classmate who copy+pasted everything (not kidding) & the prof didn't care. If you want to learn nutrition, do it on your own.

I took her this summer online, and regret it. Not a good grading system and some instructions she gives are not clear at all. As for extra credit, its good that its there but if you don't hand in all assignments she won't even count it. I personally did all of the extra credit and didn't get any points on it because i forgot to post one assignment.

I took her for an online summer session and she was very hard to get in touch with and when she did respond, she was very rude with no greeting or closing. Her work was easy and the class was kind of fun, but she really wasn't all that great of a professor. She does give extra credit though. She wasn't horrible but she for sure wasn't great.

I took Intro to Nutrition online with Professor McEnroe during the first summer session. Online nutrition was so much fun! There really wasn't that much homework to do besides just a few assignments. 3 debates done at a schedule time which I didn't really care about but were okay. 3 tests and a final which is easy, open book & notes. Take her!

I was worried about taking this online class based on the reviews, but this class was easy and the professor was helpful. The only things I didn't really care for were the debates, which are a scheduled time, and the fact the forum work is not grade (so why do it?). The test are a little tough, but you can use the e-text to easily find answers.

This class was very easy, as long as you keep up with it. There are not many assignments to do and when there are assignments, they are short and simple. Only one project to do that isn't too bad. Tests are very hard, but lowest gets dropped. So many opportunities to bring up your grade with extra credit.

She is the only Professor for (Online) Intro to Nutrition. She is horrible. She is a mess, the outline is very confusing. Takes forever to respond to emails. I would NOT recommend her at all. She should get fired.

Took Nutrition online and I generally like McEnroe. She grades fairly and class is pretty easy. Lots of reading which is fine. Two things I hate? Assignments are given the week they are due (you cant get ahead) and the online debates because they are only given two specific times a week which is inconvenient for an online course

Have her for an online section and she is horrible. Makes you do online debates in a chat room setting. They are disorganized and she isnt even there for them. Thank god I dont actually have to sit through a class with her. Several others have emailed me with their dissatisfaction

Such a **** class I could not stand being in it. It reminded me of a highschool class geared towards underachievers. Does not challenge the mind. Nice person but terribly unmotivating teacher.
