Tests are very hard. In class he just reads the notes off the board. VERY boring class to sit through make sure to bring coffee.

I've now had Dr. Morrin for two classes (Cognitive, Applied Research Methods), and I respect him as a person. He's a rather chill professor, totally fine with extending a due date. However, his grading and tests are horrific and you will basically be waiting till end of the semester to get back the homework/essays from the beginning of the year!

Comment:

Took a while to grade things. The material was not hard if you studied, but class was boring and hard to focus on. He gave great examples in class to use for the exams and we were usually done with class early everyday. Takes a few days to reply back to emails, but rarely cancels class. You could miss class and do okay but would take more work

Comment:

I liked him and thought he was funny. His class has no homework, and the only things that really affect your grade are tests. The tests can be pretty tough, and make sure you read the book because he never goes over it but uses it for test questions. As long as you read, and go to class you should do good.

Dr. Morrin is an okay professor. He is sometimes funny, but lectures are pretty boring. His exams can be difficult and they often contain information that we never even talked about in class. The journals he makes you do before exams are helpful, but 750 words is a lot for some of the chapters. Overall, I wouldn't really recommend him.

I definitely would not recommend taking this class online. He only gives you 45 minutes to take a 50+ question test because he "doesn't want you to have an advantage that the in class students wouldn't have". Good luck emailing him because if he actually does respond it'll be zero help at all. Late work is absolutely not accepted either. No excuses

He has a monotone so it is sometimes hard to pay attention while listening to lecture but he does tell jokes during it to get people to laugh. The tests are easy as long as you study. I listened to the lectures 3 days a week and did the study guide and passed every test. Had at least 2 extra questions on the exam that were bonus points.

great teacher, good at explaining things, but I found his test to be hard. ex. i studied for a week and a half so i could get a 94 on one of his exams, the rest of the exams didn't go to well and i had already had a psych class in high school and was a psych major. so study study don't just read the notes use the study guide and read the textbook

Dr. Morrin is a very good teacher. He explains the material with clarity and provides excellent examples. Going to lecture is necessary (but not mandatory)if you want to do well in the course. His tests are relatively simple and the book is rarely used (only one or two questions the test relate). I recommend taking Dr. Morrin for Intro.

He knew his stuff. He was really good. BUT...He was never in his office during his office hours. I would email him and NEVER recieved an email back. IMPOSSIBLE to communicate with. Also, his tests are really tough even if you do read the book. I did everything in that class including the reading and still didn't do that good.

This is my favorite professor and class. I could sit in his class all day and not get bored. It may just be because I am a psych major but he makes it easy. DR. MORRIN IS THE PROFESSOR TO TAKE FOR PSYCHOLOGY!!!!

Dr, Morrin is awesome! Took him twie for 2 diffrent classes. Tests are easy, it's basically evertything he goes over in class, the extra credit jurnals are ling but easy, and they come in handy! Just his lectures are enough to get by, he makes so much sense and gives great examples!

He's super nice, and personable. If you go to class and stick out, he's easy to make conversation with. only has 5 tests..no quizes..dont have to go to class.. all tests are multiple choice, about 50 questions. plus, extra credit can be 3 whole points onto your grade.

He knows his stuff! Tests can be hard, but if you study and go to class you can get a D - C. If you read the Chapters you will do better than that. He explains everything and gives plenty of examples... just come to class and pay attention and youll be fine
